The setting was gorgeous, the rooms were very comfortable and the staff was amazing. The food was great, we enjoyed the buffet options. Highly recommend! What a magical honeymoon.

We had a fabulous stay at Zilwa! What a gorgeous resort! The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, from the warm welcome we received at check in to the wait staff at each of the restaurants. Even the instructor for our morning aqua gym class was great - very enthusiastic! The food at each of the restaurants was excellent; we especially enjoyed the Thai restaurant, Manao, and had a delicious Indian meal at Tadka. We also had fun at the island for the BBQ lunch. The grounds are beautiful and our view from our ocean front room was stunning. We saw several lovely sunsets during our stay too. I celebrated my birthday while I was at Zilwa and the staff made my day very special by decorating our bed and offering dessert with my birthday dinner. The evening entertainment was terrific. I loved the dancers! Zilwa also has many fun activities and we were able to go out kayaking and snorkeling. Although I also wanted to go scuba diving I did not have the opportunity during this stay. I highly recommend Zilwa Attitude and hope to return to this beautiful resort one day.

This place is a little piece of heaven on earth. The peace and tranquillity plus the view is nothing short of amazing!! Christine and Jean were outstanding!! The breakfast crepes were a winner for my kids🩷 we are definitely planning to go stay there again and cant wait! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

The location is very close to local restaurants in the area. It was safe to walk at night as two women. The staff were friendly, helpful, and gave excellent advice for local beach spots and cuisine. We had to store our luggage for the day after check out, and they were accommodating every step of the way. Highly recommend!

Best of everything, very attentive staff, high quality Meals with a wide variety of options plus great ambiance. Maybe they should consider providing complimentary Water and juice during meals, just as it's done during breakfast

Beautiful hotel with well stocked facilities and amenities. I went for my Honeymoon and it was ideal. The hotel gym, cinema and pools were great and the food was delicious. I didn't mind enjoying the buffet every day. Half-board is highly recommended. Some minor downsides include tanning by the beach. The beach has quite a few wasps and the water is very shallow. It also has some seaweed that can be a little awkward to walk on. All in all, these were very minor points and we enjoyed tanning daily without being bothered by anything. The staff took very good care of us and the place was very elegant and clean. Moving around the city was convenient as well as the hotel has a set of services and taxis that can offer tours and guide guests across for a fixed fee. Highly recommended.

Grand Gaube is a bit out of the way, far from the airport...

Grand Gaube is a bit out of the way, far from the airport and not very convenient to get to other places on the island. The beach was not the best as the water was not clear, but it was clean. We stayed at the resort all the time as, thankfully, there was plenty to do there.

Short tips: Take your meds for allergies.

Short tips: Take your meds for allergies. I had a allergy day 1 and it really spoils the fun. The nurse Sarista is really amazing there but you don't want to struggle. TAKE MEDS to prevent. Pack your running shoes. The gym is GREAT or go for a jog, because you eat a lot. Bring a digestive and or something for indigestion and heartburn. You eat a LOT! Don't forget your SPF. Dress up clothes for the evenings. You would want to look smart at dinner. There is something about the events and atmosphere at night.

We both enjoyed the stay.

We both enjoyed the stay. The staff was polite, respectful. they couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and pleasurable. Deepak Goolaria and his kitchen team prepared an eggless cake for me to celebrate my birthday. Sandeep and Vikram, Sucheeta and Jason were always working and talking to us how was our stay going.

The location was excellent, with well-maintained facilities and food was good.some staff were amazing .Aircon in our room was horrible and we called almost everyday complaining that it wasn't working.Beds were not very comfortable.It is very very expensive if you do not take an all inclusive option. we took an all inclusive option and still paid a lot in extra.
