We had such a wonderful stay at Casa Laud! You’re right on the beach, just a short walk from the main town. The rooms are clean and comfortable and there’s water pressure in the shower (which can be hard to come by here)! Irma and Oscar are wonderful hosts who are so warm and welcoming and help make your stay comfortable. They have really worked hard to make this place a small haven in paradise. There’s a little spot near the water with hammocks and places to lounge in the shade. The rooftop is the perfect place to watch the sunrise/sunset or gaze at the stars at night. Wifi is good and the bed and pillows are cozy! Irma helped us set up a boat tour of the mangroves and a ride out to the ocean. You must try Irma’s cooking, it’s so good and feels like home! Just ask her for the menu. We would (and will!) come back every time we visit Chacahuua.

Beautiful and chic hotel with a beautiful view. Nice simple design but with artistic touches. We loved the conch shell outdoor shower! It’s about a 20 minute walk into town, which was perfect for us (we love beach walks) but for people who want to be closer to town it might be too much.

Definitely what we’ve needed: beautiful remote location with beach access and lovely souls - we’ve really enjoyed the yoga sessions, the delicious food (breakfast and dinner), the chats with the lovely owner Eric and the volunteers and the cuddles with the Ashram dog Canelo!!
