I got sick when I arrived and asked for plate of rice they didn’t have so I ask for a caldo de pollo … surprise it has rice . Then I ask for olive oil and they didn’t olive oil . So the kitchen is not good , the service is great .

Great city full of gorgeous flowering trees, lime trees...
Great city full of gorgeous flowering trees, lime trees along sidewalks, great climate, even in rainy season, & welcoming residents. Many great & unique places to explore within range like Tlaquepaque (Méxican versión of an old Greenwich Village full of arts, handicrafts, & musicians), the active archeological site of circular step pyramids & museum of Guachimontones. A city center full of beautiful historical architecture such as the Gothic Church, & the ornate theater. The Bascilica, the cultural Huichol museum & many nearby fun towns such as Tequila & the mountain town of Tapalpa. Hot springs; lush forrests & great exploring/hiking to do in the Barrancas (sometimes referred to as the Méxican Grand Canyon). Easy & cheap public transportation!

I stayed in Guadalajara because I missed my connection flight due to the airport closing due to bad wheather. I didn't get to go anywhere, so I really don't have anything good or bad to say about the City.

Clean and very secure city; we never felt in danger, even walking through dark streets at night—beautiful and friendly city. Calle y Número is a few meters from the Tren Ligero (subway System). People are very friendly and always ask you if you need help. Do NOT hesitate to plan your vacations in this beautiful city, and always look for cultural events. Try to avoid the rainy season, as it could become a nightmare. Lots of floods.

Guadalajara is our second home City in Mexico.
Guadalajara is our second home City in Mexico. We have made many friends and try to visit for a least a week every other month. There is a great vibe, a lot of culture, delicious street food and small taquerias, wonderful restaurants, and nightlife. Guadalajara offers so much for travelers and plenty of opportunities for those who wish to stay longer. Perhaps we may be residents of the City soon.

There is so much to see in the historic centre.
There is so much to see in the historic centre. Good restaurants and lots of booths selling foods and local goods. Really enjoyed the hop on hop off bus tour.
We would have liked to visit a museum or two but none seemed open while we were there. Enjoyed the music taking place on the walkways!

The property is in a great location felt really safe and a short uber away from the main city centre. The reception is 24 hrs which was good because we arrived late to check in, the staff were really helpful. The room was nice, have to say it looks a little more fancy than in real life, however it wasn’t a problem for us, we made it like home. We stayed for more than 4 nights in the end because we liked the hotel and the convenience. The breakfast buffet was great, lots of different options. I would come back if coming back to Guadalajara

The location - Colonia Americana feels super safe. The hotel is surrounded by tons of restaurants and more. The room's decor is super modern with wooden panels yet the building is very industrial and minimalistic. Small details like the nespresso machine and the tap bedside lamp are a great touch. Honestly a steal with where the rooms are priced. Would recommend to anyone headed to Guadalajara

This is a lovely hotel in central Guadalajara. Our room and the hallways around it were spotlessly clean, everything polished to perfection. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Lots of hot water in the shower. Easy parking on the ground level. A short walk to either the main plaza or in the other direction to Col. America.

The hotel was perfectly located- walking distance to centre historico where all the interesting things are located. The staff were great and went out of their way to help me order a taxi to the airport and find information about Tlaquepaque which I wanted to visit.

They let me store my suitcase for a while after I checked out which was much appreciated.
The location is good. Just a few blocks from Centro Plaza.
