This place was SO VERY SPECIAL for our first trip to Loreto. Daniela our front desk concierge is one the loveliest, authentic, warm people out there. She was able to help guide our trip from start to finish. From simple questions about the airport/taxis and places to eat… to helping us craft custom fishing excursions and travels to Mulegé/beaches up north. The owner of the hotel Arturo even helped us out with a ride and advice on how to prepare our fish after our all day fishing/boating:beach adventure near the Isla de Coronado. We can’t wait to return. The hotel is new, clean, has cozy king beds and fluffy pillows. Pretty quiet too which was great. Right in the mix of everything! They are opening their own deli and store too by the front desk / entrance as well around Christmas. Anything you need, they have it or can help you get. Thanks for the hospitality Daniela and Arturo -Lisa and Nathan from San Diego

We loved everything about our stay at Paraíso Azul. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The staff was friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Having a home cooked breakfast every morning was great too, and it was delicious! Can't recommend this place enough. Will definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Loreto!

The area of Nopolo is very calm and relaxing. If you stay here pool and beach and walk around the town to see what is open or you can take a taxi to see Loreto and other beaches around the area. You can also enjoy the sunrise and sunsets or some golf.

I lived in Loreto from 2007-2012.

I lived in Loreto from 2007-2012. We return fairly regularly and while much has changed the people remain the same, warm and friendly. The main issue with Loreto is noise and lack of medical care. The old hospital only has an x-ray machine and the drive to La Paz is 4 hours. As for the noise expect barking dogs, roosters crowing and loud music late into the night. Also, visitors mistake Loreto for a beach town but it's a place for sports fishing so the beaches are not white sand rather brown and rocky. With cruise ships coming in now I was shocked by how expensive everything from restaurants to shopping has gotten. Definitely not the Loreto that I new and loved.

Great food, restaurants & service.

Great food, restaurants & service. People were super friendly and helpful. Sufficient places to shop if you’re there for a day or two. Beach was not really populated . A great place to go but a good idea to plan adventures or you’l get bored. There are things like kayak adventures and trips (including multi day ones) that launch from here so check those out. Weather was wonderful

Just as long as you manage your expectations and know that Loretta is a fishing village that is slowly growing then you will be pleasantly surprised. There is no Uber. There is no Walmart which makes the place a bit interesting. We liked the environment and especially evenings when there were festivals or parties going on in the evening it was great. We had an evening where a cruise ship was docked and the whole town came to life and it was fun. It may not be for everyone, but it worked for us.

This was a return trip after a decade or so to Loreto and Loreto Bay. The first 6 days we stayed in the town at a small hotel, in a residential setting. Met some super fellow travellers and really enjoyed our time. Did the Mission trip as well as the downtown Mission museum both worth your time. The second 8 days was in Loreto Bay. Swanky, beautifully maintained community. It is expensive, but really a first rate location. We do not golf so other than the fantastic beach, not a lot to occupy your time. It is picture postcard beautiful a treat for the eyeballs. If I did it again maybe I would go for 4 days to Loreto Bay, and 6 in town, that would be a great mix.

Loreto is beautiful, friendly, and safe, as was Mulege, Punta Chivato, and Santa Rosalia. The culture was lovely, the food was amazing, the art and history was captivating, and I completely appreciate why people venture away from bigger resort towns and move there. We stayed in the area for 11 days and we weren't ready to leave. There was so much we didn't have time to explore! We're already planning our next trip.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable, quiet, and equipped with everything we could possible need during our stay. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout the apartment, that made our stay that much nicer. Staff were very helpful and friendly as well, and we appreciated the convenient location for exploring downtown Loreto and area on foot. Would highly recommend!

The location was great for me as I had a conference at a nearby hotel, and also near the beach and a plaza with restaurants and a grocery store. The accommodation is very clean, nicely decorated, and the kitchen is well appointed with everything I needed. The wifi worked great! The owner is extremely attentive. I would stay here again.

A lovely small b&b style hotel, staff were amazing, very helpful. We felt very relaxed and comfortable here. We stayed first of in a small studio style room for one night then returned 3 days later for 3 day stay in a more spacious suite. A very satisfying stay.

Very clean comfortable apartment. Right beside the main walking street and museum. Nice 5 minute walk to the ocean and Malecon. It's on one of the busier streets in Loreto but the bedroom is in the back so it's fairly quiet. Staff was very helpful.
