Beautiful house, great facilities, secure (walled and gated) yard with parking inside the gate. Everything is clean and well maintained. Lots of hot water in shower. Manager replied instantly to our questions. Quiet area with many restaurants nearby. Short walk across highway to Sunday market. Perfect place to base yourself for the whole area.

It's a very good basic motel type place - clean, good bed and hot water shower. It is hard to find now because the short road from the main road is closed for repaving and you must drive a ways down a bumpy dirt road. When the repaving is done, it will be more convenient. But I still recommend it.

Nice patio to relax, play cribbage. Able to use the kitchen to make coffee and light breakfast. Nice little town. At night, he let us park inside.

The 3 generation family was truly wonderful. We had enuf privacy but also felt part of things. It was perfect. If you want to experience zapotecan life, this is where to do it. For an additional reasonable cost, we had wonderful traditional breakfasts (including grasshoppers) with almost everything home grown and organic. We watched them weave, took a dying workshop, saw primary school kids learn how to put feathers on headdresses. All great.

Beautiful space with a garden courtyard, filled with flowers and butterflies. View of the sacred mountain el picacho. Peaceful hammocks for relaxing in the afternoon and evening. Sound of crickets and distant village music lulled us to sleep. Quietest place I have ever stayed in Mexico. The proprietors are a sweet family with kind faces, and we enjoyed talking with their young daughter in the morning.
