Wonderful peaceful luxury cabins, close to the beach. We loved everything about our stay here, especially borrowing bikes to find deserted beaches! Reonaldo was the perfect host.

This is the second time we've stayed at the Manglares and it's always a delightful experience. You cannot beat the location (RIGHT ON THE BEACH but not in the busy part of town) or the accommodations (studio-sized apartment with a living and kitchen space) for the price, and the staff are absolute peaches. The only hiccup was a brief issue with the air conditioning unit, but Rodrigo got right on it and had it fixed within a couple of hours. Just fabulous service.

We loved it so much we stayed an extra day! It was so relaxing, lazing in the hammocks and watching the beautiful sunsets from the hotel beach. The location is great, it’s close to the centre plaza and an easy walk up the beach to the restaurants. Fernando was very friendly and attentive. He’s is continually making improvements, and has a lovely vision for the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel, and very much look forward to going back!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Hotel Manglares as your choice in Celestun. I stayed for 3 nights of my Yucatan birding adventure and wish I could have stayed much longer. It was very affordable for everything offered, right on a wonderful beach at the Gulf of Mexico. The casa was very clean and comfortable, right on the beach. (I said that, but it was SO nice), with a patio door and windows that open for a wonderfully refreshing cross breeze and ocean/gulf front ambiance. Oh, and the sunset is remarkable! I had everything I needed to save money and prepare my own meals after birding all day each day, the shower was great, and I slept wonderfully. It's walking distance, down the beach or by road, to the best restaurants in town and the market square. Or, you can hire a motor taxi, which is a popular mode of transportation in and around town. My bird guide and I even used one to get to the more rural regions around town, because friends borrowed my rental car. If you're looking for the special birda of the Yucatan, the birding is FANTASTIC (!) by the way. Make sure you go out to see the flamingos if you stay

Beautiful pool, lovely room with comfortable beds. Oberto was very friendly. Easily walk along beach to restaurants. Close to nature preserve. Wish we had stayed longer.
