I had the small fan room. The bed was comfortable, the room was surprisingly cool considering the outside temperature so the fan was all I needed. They had a small store as well to get beers and snacks, and free coffee and tea for guests. There is a great restaurant across the road, and only a short walk to the beach. Bicycles and scooters for rent. a bit out of the main town but easily walkable in 5 minutes or you can ride a bike.

Very nice and clean place. Good location, 2 min till best beach of Tekek and close to marina. Nice restaurant with acceptable prices. And very friendly, helpful and open-minded owner.

Cheap and simple. But good value. Not fancy. Very nice family operating it. Very simple honest folks. Almost like staying with a village family.

Fantastic location, staff, and facilities. A 12 out of 10 in all respects. Well worth visiting.

Incredible location and the owners were friendly!

We were in Tioman in February 2025, at the end of the monsoon season. A word of advice to everyone: always check the weather and wave height before traveling to Tioman during this time. If the waves are higher than 1–1.5 meters, consider postponing your trip, as the ferry ride can be brutal. Also, avoid listening to locals offering boat taxis when the weather is bad—they will take you regardless of whether it’s safe or not. Unknowingly, we took the last ferry that managed to sail to Tioman before services were suspended due to bad weather. We ended up being stuck on the island for eight days because the ferry was canceled multiple times, as a storm in the South China Sea kept the waves dangerously high. The ferry ride there was a nightmare, and we were just relieved to have survived it. Upon arrival, our hotel arranged a pickup for us (you can message them in advance, and for a fee, they will come to get you). The hotel is located at the end of the beach, giving it a private and secluded feel. The rooms were basic but nice, and although the menu didn’t look impressive at first glance, the food was actually really good. The staff was incredibly friendly, helped us book a snorkeling tour, and made our extended stay more comfortable by keeping us informed about ferry cancellations and other updates. A unique aspect of our experience was that, since no new visitors arrived during our stay, we became friends with everyone on the island. When it was finally time to leave, we were initially nervous about the ferry ride back, but to our surprise, the sea was calm, and the journey was smooth and relaxing.
