Kuala Terengganu is a beautiful city.

Kuala Terengganu is a beautiful city. I love the boat ride enjoying views of KT in the evening almost sunset. The crystal Mosque and Drawbridge. Spectacular. I also love the popular food ICT. Ikan celup tepung. We have it at Warong Pok Nong in Kuala Nerus, not far away from KT. The Singgang Budu Restaurant also serve varieties of delicious local food. Pasar Payang has lots of batik. Beautiful and cheap. It also have a lot of food especially keropok tamban and keropok parang. Serunding, budu, nisang, lekor, keropok gemok etc etc.

Kuala Terengganu is a beautiful place that deserves more than just a short visit. The beaches are mostly clean, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing, especially during sunrise. The local food is amazing, from nasi dagang and keropok lekor to fresh seafood and ikan celup tepung. Spend a few extra days here to enjoy the slower pace of life, explore the beaches, and experience the warm hospitality of the locals. You will leave with a full stomach and wonderful memories.

Kuala Terengganu is a wonderful destination that blends...

Kuala Terengganu is a wonderful destination that blends great food, modern conveniences, and deep cultural heritage. Staying near the city center made it incredibly easy to walk to local street food spots, Chinese restaurants in Chinatown, and the new Mayang Mall, while daily necessities were easily sorted at nearby XR Mart, 7-Eleven, and Econsave. Strolling down to the pantai to see the iconic Jambatan Angkat drawbridge at sunset was a huge highlight. Beyond the city center, visiting the massive Terengganu State Museum and the stunning Crystal Mosque made the trip complete. The Crystal Mosque is especially fantastic because it warmly welcomes non-Muslim visitors inside and provides educational brochures to help travelers learn more about Islam. Highly recommended for a relaxed cultural getaway!

I had a pleasant one-night stay in Kuala Terengganu. The trip was short but enjoyable, with a visit to Kedai Payang as the highlight. The market was lively and full of local charm, offering a great variety of traditional snacks, batik, and souvenirs at reasonable prices. Overall, it was a relaxing stopover with a nice cultural experience—perfect for a short getaway.

Many beaches, friendly people, nice food (nasi dagang), love Pasar Payang & I even got myself two sets of kain batik for making baju kurung. Love Kuala Terengganu & will definitely come again.

a reasonably affluent city on the east coast, boasting a modern drawbridge copied from London Bridge in the UK. There is a lot of building and development going on, and clearly this place has ambitions. There are two massive shopping malls close to the drawbridgewith a great range of shops inside, and the whole city had a very pleasant vibe.

It’s super clean and comfortable. For someone having bad sinus, I felt comfortable staying here. Plus, the location is nice, you can have about 5 minutes walk to the beach and also it’s it the Kuala Terengganu town, so everything is nearby.

Strategic location, nice and clean room. It's always my go-to hotel in Kuala Terengganu. Water dispenser at level 1 which is very convenient when we need more than the 2 bottles they provide.
