The location was very good. The room was a bit dated but it was very spacious and even had a big corner couch. It had everything we needed: fridge, tea/coffee, etc. The bathroom was also a good size with a deep bathtub. The breakfast was plenty and we were treated very kindly by Jen. It was very enjoyable!

We were in the rooftop suite at Zen. It was the nicest place we have stayed during our two week Netherlands stay. The room was spacious and the bathroom was huge and very inviting. We loved having the outdoor terrace for afternoon snacks and beverages. Tom was extremely helpful and we could tell by the cleanliness, and the little extras in the suite that he has an eye for detail and wants his guests to have a comfortable stay. We highly recommend Zen B&B.

Dordrecht is a small town, but its center is beautiful.

Dordrecht is a small town, but its center is beautiful. Many gems of Dutch architecture are hidden there. And there is Cafe Buddingh near the station. A must. And so is the Statenplein and surroundings. If you take the Ferry at the Merwe harbour you get a sensational view of the rivers (the Rhine-Maas delta).

The old town of Dordrecht is very interesting and easy to...

The old town of Dordrecht is very interesting and easy to walk around. The Church is fascinating. The Waterbus stop is within walking distance of the apartment where we stayed as is the Spar supermarket and Villa Augustus with its market garden shop and restaurant. The Biesboch is also very accessible.

Dordrecht is a charming city with lots of beautiful old buildings, bustling squares, and shopping areas. There are a number of nice reasonably priced restaurants and fun shops. It's easy to get around the old townt by foot. We enjoyed the city boat tour which gives you a canal eyed view of the city and lots of information about its past and current situation. Really enjoyed the Huis van Gijn by the Nieuwe Haven. All in all it was a pleasant weekend getaway.

very near to Rotterdam.

very near to Rotterdam. Easy to access by train and Waterbus from the Erasmus Bridge. The old town was very nice, with bridges canals and a large number of small shops selling unusual gifts. There were a lot of music vintage and antique shops. Nice restaurants and bars. There was a large food market on a Friday and Saturday The Grote Kirk was very good. There were 2 top class museums in the Hof Van Nederland and The Dordrecht museum. The latter had a top class art collection. There is also a World War 2 museum which unfortunately we had no time to visit.

Definitely visit the Dordrechts Museum: good collection of paintings and check out the restaurant/café too! Huis van Gijn is another must in Dordrecht. You can buy a combined ticket for both museums and thus save money. The Grote Kerk is also worth a visit but check the opening times - it seems to be open only on Saturday afternoons in the wintertime. Otherwise just enjoy strolling through this very pleasant town which, thankfully, isn’t overrun by masses of tourists

Our trip was mainly to visit family.

Our trip was mainly to visit family. But we also enjoyed the boat ride around the city. Visiting the old city hall the old churches and the windmill that was still working to grind flour. Many quaint little shops. Enjoyed the different types of restaurants with outdoor patios and great food.all in all a very enjoyable stay.

The room we booked had excellent views over the river. Very old hotel but full of character. Car parking at rear of hotel for free. Very good breakfast. Plenty of choice. Dordrecht is a beautiful place to spend a few days. This hotel is in a great place to explore from. Would very happily stay again.

Very nice room. It's got everything you need. Comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and with a good choice of food. The hotel offers late check-out in case you need more time. The parking is big enough and is free of charge. There is a small compliment on check-out. It makes one feel appreciated.
