Puerto RicoThe front desk employees were very nice and welcoming. There is free parking. The room was spacious and comfortable. We ate dinner and the food was delicious. The breakfast buffet was very good with a lot of choices like coffee, juices, breads, pancakes, eggs, and fruits. The check-in and check-out process was fast and easy. They even have a beautiful play area for kids which our daughter loved.

For it's size, has a good selection of bars and restaurants, despite being quite rural. Torino looks a bit dodge but we sat in and had fab pizzas for E15 each inc drinks (non alcoholic only). Sharma Calzone is a bit of a jump from tradition but I loved it. Very close to Gouda and Rotterdam, but very much in the country. It's a Euro each way on the ferry and a very short and scenic bike ride to the windmills. Nice for watching the boats go by.

Hotel is located in a small charmingly beautiful village near the nice recreational area. Hotel is very clean, however premises are in a necessary need for a refurbishment. Breakfast has got a super minimalistic selection, and even of that is a shortage in a servery. Been given an instruction that breakfasts starts at 8 a.m. on weekends, have asked for the possibility to get it from 7 a.m., but been refused, however the next morning have seen the group having it just at 7.00…

Nicely located at a farm next to the river Lek. The owners are friendly. I enjoyed the experience. Yes, it's fairly basic but everything you need is there. And this area of Krimpenerwaard is a must-see, situated between Krimpen a/d Lek and Lekkerkerk, and close to Kinderdijk (at other side of the river).

free private parking available at the hotel, spacious room, very clean, great breakfast in the morning (fresh and good range of choices), staff very friendly and helpful (e.g. renting bicycles, leaving the car in the yard after checkout), great value for money
