Het appartement bevindt zich in de achterste helft van een stenen 'schuur' achter het huis. Het bevat alles wat je nodig hebt om een weekje vakantie te kunnen vieren. Uiteraard is het centraal verwarmd maar liefhebbers van een houtkachel kunnen er ook hun hart ophalen! Wij delen graag onze tuin met anderen. Wij noemen het een tuin, een aantal gasten sprak van 'een park', De tuin is groot genoeg (10.000 m2) om heerlijk in te dwalen of zomaar ergens geheel prive op een bankje in de zon te zitten. Onze kippen en geiten maken het tot een bijzonder aangename plek om te verblijven! B&B Lekkerkerk is een uitstekende overnachtingslocatie voor de wandelaars langs de E8, het Grote Rivierenpad
Wij werkten allebei in het onderwijs. De B&B is een (soms ietwat uit de hand gelopen :) ) hobbyproject.
Lekkerkerk ligt slechts een half uurtje rijden van het centrum van Rotterdam, midden in het groen van de Krimpenerwaard. Wandelen en fietsen kan hier uitgebreid. Met de waterbus zijn Rotterdam en Dordrecht heel goed bereikbaar. Op fiets (bij ons te huur) kun je probleemloos de prachtige steden Schoonhoven en Gouda bezoeken.
