NetherlandsWe loved the location, the nice view, and the cozy design of the room. The self check it went smoothly. The hotel has a variety of snacks, drinks and essential items you might need for your trip, available anytime, on the ground floor, which gives peace of mind. The room was quiet, even if it's across the station, it has a good sound insulation. The bed was comfortable. And they have mini night tables with wireless charging. The air conditioning in the room went well, we could turn it off or adjust when needed, and we could also open the window. The shower we liked a lot, together with the high quality toiletries. Overall an amazing experience.

We did visit Warmond instead only 2 km from the hotel.
We did visit Warmond instead only 2 km from the hotel. Warmond is a very nice and small town with old renovated houses, lots of green and nice lake swimming fascilities. Beautiful area for walking and biking.

We chose this property as it was close to Keukenhof Gardens, as well as other sights we wanted to visit. The accommodation is modern, clean, and private, with the added bonus of having driveway parking for our car.
Our host, Bianca, was there to greet us when arrived, and provided us with enough food/drink for breakfast for the 4 nights we were staying there. Sassenheim itself is a charming town with local restaurants available (we particularly enjoyed eating at Eetcafe De Voogd).

Van der Valk Sassenheim - Leiden is a very convenient hotel when traveling by car. It is located very close to the highway (A44). The room was very nice and large enough. The staff members I dealt with were very friendly.

Had a great stay in Sassenheim, very central to Amsterdam and The Hague. Maureen and Peter were wonderful accommodating hosts and their accommodation and breakfast was perfect.

Nothing, the hotel would not return the money to me after I made a mistake on dates, we stayed there on the correct dates so I ended up paying twice, appalling!
