The hotel is next to the fast ferry so it is really easy to get here from Stavanger. Monika was very responsive to our messages, and arranged a taxi for us so we could start our ski tour. The hotel is simple and clean and comfortable. The self-service breakfast was excellent and we had everything that we wanted. Sand is a beautiful place, and our room had a lovely view of the fjord.

If you want to feel like you are at home rather than at a hotel after just a short but very beautiful drive from Sand village center - then this is the place for you. The room is small but you are welcome into the host's big house so full of character, charm, kindness and enough facilities for a wonderful short stay....

Excellent hotel for an overnight stay on our motorcycle tour. Great room. Nice dinner and an excellent breakfast for an early start to catch connecting ferries to Lysebotn. Wonderful views on to the fjord.
