Nativo was great. Julio and his partner (the owners) take great pride in their property. We had a double rooms that was large, clean and very comfortable. It has a view of the water and a little patio. The restaurant and pool area is very pretty, warm and welcoming. Short walk to the beach and town via a path. A bit longer by road, but there are lots of amenities and restaurants nearby. The food and service at Nativo were great! We would highly recommend Nativo if you’re visiting Santa Catalina.

SC has really changed over the last three years. it has fantastic amenities with great hotels and restaurants together with a world class wave for surfing and world class diving or snorkeling in nearby Coiba. it's also super safe and great for everyone from adventurers, to families, to surfers, to divers, to the curious.

Santa Catalina is a nice little town located along the coast and is one of the closest points to visit Coiba for divers and snorkelers. Santa Catalina is a laid back, slow little surf town with friendly locales, many tourists enjoying what it has to offer. It's also growing and you'll find a growing array of restaurant and hotel options.

Santa Catalina is a nice little town with many tourists, beautiful sunsets, and great restaurants. We went to two restaurants at either end of town. One was Restaurante El Pacífico, which is located on the hiking trail, and the other was Restaurante Oceans Santa Catalina Panama, which is at the end of the road to Playa El Estero. Both were great. Our accommodation was in the middle of town at Casa Maya (also great) and we walked both ways. It was easy to get to Coiba Island, which is a paradise on earth. We went to the island with the Coiba Express Tour, which is at the very end of the road to the ocean. We didn't want to snorkel or dive, we just wanted to relax on the islands. We went to 3 islands (one was just the two of us). The price included lunch, soft drinks, and fruit. It was great, like everything in Santa Catalina.

Beach close but not as nice as the island reached by boat or kayak. We kayaked and loved the clear water and there was shade. Estonia beach was 20 min walk away. Lovely but no shade but enjoyed the shade in the pub/ restaurant. Big relaxing sun loungers. Great pizza too. We went to Coiba for snorkelling from Santa Catalina beach. Lovely day with snorkelling stops. Tiki Lodge was fab!

There is nothing to do in the town if you are not out on the water. The snorkeling was great and we talked to people who had been diving and they all said it was incredible. We ate a couple of restaurants and the food was surprisingly good at all spots.

This hotel is a gem! It is cosy and comfortable and it has a very nice bar and restaurant area. The restaurant has the best food we have had in Santa Catalina. We ate there twice, and it was amazing both times. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. They can organise Coiba trips for you and get your laundry done. They speak both English, French and Spanish. The place was clean, had a nice terrace outside the rooms and good wifi. Highly recommend it!

Incredible location, we loved sitting in the hammocks and watching the sunset. No better view in Santa Catalina. Great aircon in the rooms and very clean with towels provided. Great access to town and the beach. Kitchen was basic but functional and worked well. The host was so helpful and friendly, we loved meeting the pets and we used the laundry service which was speedy.

The location is great, right in town and within walking distance of many restaurants and dive centers (the surf beach is a bit further away). The owners are very friendly and relaxed, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast is good, although it is always the same and the taste varies a bit depending on which volunteer is preparing it.
