I really enjoyed my stay at Lawi Haven! I stayed in the dorm with some friends, and we had a very comfortable experience. The location is perfect — waking up to the beach and surf right there! The staff were welcoming, kind, and always ready to help, which made the stay even better. For the price, this place offers amazing value. I would happily recommend this hostel to other travelers looking for the a great hostel up north in Burgos!

Eric and his family were very welcoming and super nice. The room was a great size and had everything you would need. There is a nice outdoor kitchen area which was really nice.. The location was good and is in a quite area. We rented scooters form General Luna and drove up to Roxys and there was a good amount of room to park, and it only 10-15 min drive away from surf spots which is super convenient. Would definitely stay there again!!

Great weekend getaway. Amazing location right on the beach. We liked the nice hot shower and sunrise was incredible, right outside our door. You cant beat falling asleep to the sound of the water on the shore. We will come back again. Jen is a great host and helped us with anything we needed. I highly recommend.

Excellent budget stay. Jean is extremely friendly and helpful and available, she gave us lots of tips for things to do around and checked in on us. We booked our airport tuktuk through the stay, as well. The property is extremely clean, well maintained and kept. Has a beautiful garden and well equipped, communal kitchen. There’s also more lounge areas upstairs. We had a great stay, Burgos is wonderful and away from the business of General Luna and more authentic than Pacifico beach area. Some good food options, surf, bike rentals and beaches around. Getting to know some of the local kids was a highlight! Highly recommend.
