It’s difficult to find a really good place to stay in Biliran, but Agta is the best one I’ve found so far. Everyone was very helpful and friendly, including the owner. The food on-site was great, and the ocean view was beautiful. There’s a sandy beach, a pool, and they can organize snorkeling and diving directly from the resort. It’s also conveniently close to Naval and other attractions.

I like staying in the barrangay with the local people. The beach is right there, and this house has all the charm and amenities to be comfortable without staying in the tourist area or a hotel. For the adventurous traveler who appreciates being immersed in local culture, this is the perfect place.
