The hotel is in a great location, just five minutes from Czocha Castle, which was the main reason for our visit. The building itself is attractive and full of character, but the interior décor and facilities are showing their age and would benefit from refurbishment to restore the quality the property likely once offered. Check-in was smooth overall, although the reception was closed when we arrived at around 7:20 pm. Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant was also closed, so we had to look elsewhere for dinner. We ended up at a nearby pizzeria, which seemed to be the only place open in Leśna that evening. Our room overlooked the rear of the property, with views of a yard and several neglected buildings, which was not particularly appealing. On the positive side, breakfast was enjoyable, with a decent selection of buffet-style options. The staff member on duty in the morning was especially friendly and helpful. Based on our experience, I would not currently recommend the hotel for families visiting outside the peak season. During our stay at the end of May, the hotel was very quiet and appeared to be occupied mainly by a few workers, ourselves, and another couple. We were woken up a few times during the night by noises of a party and loud discussions by presumably the same workers or other men outside of our room. Overall, this is an average hotel offering reasonable value for money. It has a lot of potential thanks to its location, character, and pricing, but some investment and modernization would significantly improve the guest experience.

Just like stepping back in time.

Just like stepping back in time. Room was located in the castle, nicely appointed with furniture and items related to the past. Modern bathroom in the room was a plus. Nice view from the room of the natural setting surrounding the castle and many picture settings inside and outside of the property. Good restaurant and excellent breakfast. Tour of the castle was not free but well worth it.

I cannot answer question 2 as we left after the first day.

I cannot answer question 2 as we left after the first day. Wonderful Castle and surrounding. Room uncomfortably cold. Had to run tap 15 minutes to get tepid water. Restaurant is not like hotel photos because of covid we were told. No covers to chairs and tables. My main course came before I had finished my first course and was nearly cold with a skin on the sauce. Our visit was for a surprise for my partner’s 70 birthday. Such a letdown

Piekne miejsce, swietny klimat. Obsluga od panow ochroniarzy na wjezdzie poprzez recepcje , po housekeeping i pania w restauracji bardzo mila. Mialam pokoj z prysznicem i umywalką, a toaleta na korytarzu. Ale nie przeszkadzalo mi to. Nie jest to jakis luksusowy hotel, ale za to mozna poczuc klimat tego zamku. Przywiozlam syna na letnią szkołę magii i jeśli bym wiedziała jakie to fantastyczne miejsce i plany by mi na to pozwoliły, to bym przedluzyla pobyt.

I would like to mark - my review is about the hotel (not about the Castle). The only good thing in this hotel is the location - the hotel is inside the old unique castle (Zamek Czocha). The security men at the entrance gate are really kind and friendly. Thanks for them.
