What a gem! So glad I stumbled on this place while browsing the booking catalog. The stay itself was very comfortable, but honestly that’s not even the best part. It’s a place where you get to experience what’s left from a not-so-distant troubled past - and today there’s common ground, respect, and genuine appreciation between Germans and Poles. It’s touching. I love when things like that happen; it recharges your trust in people. Anyway, back to the place — absolutely worth a visit. Nature is right outside your doorstep. You’ve got a large garden that almost feels like a park, a chill-out area with a fire pit, a covered altana where you can have breakfast or just hang out, and your own private pond with fish. Great hiking trails all around, so you won’t run out of places to explore. And lakes everywhere you go - I’m not kidding. Every single one I visited had crystal clear water and not a soul around. Just wildlife (mostly birds) and you. What’s not to love? The hosts are super friendly and helpful, and they’ll happily tell you about the history of the region. Go if you need a place to reset and just focus on spending some good, slow time.
