We loved our time here. The room on the ground floor was extremely comfortable, big, spotlessly clean and had a kitchenette in the entrance area. Bathroom was very clean and with a huge shower. Breakfast was organized in a smart way. Cheese, ham, butter, milk, orange juice and jam was already inside the fridge. Along with a giant basket of fruit and a bottle of wine. Bread and croissant were delivered fresh and still warm every morning. The and coffe was provided and the kitchen had a water boiler a coffe machine a microwave and an electric stove. The owners are very friendly, discrete and helpful with suggestions about the area. The house is a beautiful historical building dates back in 1750. There are two super friendly and quiet dogs on the property. We loved having them around but they are not invasive at all. They do appreciate the pets tho ;-)

Helena and Carlos were EXCEPTIONAL hosts. We had a logistical problem (we were given the wrong location) and they immediately sorted everything out in the most wonderful way. The apartment is spectacular. The location, the rooms, the facilities, and the views are breathtaking. We were only there one night (Camino walkers) but could have stayed for a month. Thank you both so much!!

This was truly one of the best hotel stays we have ever had. The hospitality of the family owned hotel was extraordinary — Maria went far beyond anything you would expect. She prepared a wonderful homemade dinner and a delicious breakfast, and even helped with laundry since we were very wet from walking the Camino, which is something you simply don’t find at most hotels. The hotel itself is beautiful, warm, and impeccably maintained. The indoor heated pool was a huge bonus. Every detail felt thoughtful and personal, with so many little extras that other hotels just don’t do anymore. This place is right off of the Portuguese Camino and felt less like a hotel and more like being welcomed into a very special home. We can’t recommend it highly enough and would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful grounds, pools, outdoor lounging. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cooking supplies. The hostess was wonderful, helpful and considerate. We wished we could have stayed longer!

The room was very nice and the hotel and restaurant were elegant. We had dinner and breakfast, and both were exceptionally good. The two men who ran the place did not speak English but still managed to convey the very most welcoming and helpful attitudes.

Everything was perfect! The house is great, the view is mind-blowing, and the host is exceptional. He cooked dinner and breakfast for all the guests and made us feel really welcomed. It's pretty close to the Camino, just a small detour, but it's totally worth it.
