The room is gorgeous and the facilities are super!

Room 223 was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The inside of the building has a simple, but nice contemporary feel and everything was very clean. The location, about 5 km from the Guimarães city center, is perfect if you have a car. Breakfast included bread (3 types) and croissants, butter, jam, ham, cheese, cereals, yoghurt, milk, soy or almond milk (not sure which one), coffee and tea. There are 3 free parking spaces on the premises, but it's tricky to park your car there, as there is no space to maneuver, but there are plenty of places (free) on the street. Staff was very friendly.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good, and it's a very calm place. The staff was very kind.

Everything about my stay was Fantastic! The property is a gem and the location is stunning...My room was large and had everything I needed for an awesome adventure. The hotel has many areas to enjoy and relax. Drink and food top! Very clean, comfortable bed, great location, excellent communication regarding check in.

The hotel is very clean, the staff is very nice and the 24/7 free bar with coffee and tea was very nice. The breakfast includes superb food and the staff tries really hard to replace empty plates immediately! There are adapter jacks everywhere and a very large lounge for working, it is very business-friendly and exceeded all our expectations.

The location, the ambience, and the staff make this my favorite hotel in Portugal. This was my second time staying at the HOOL. I will be back.

The breakfast was amazing so many options and very delicious. The spa, pool and gym were really good as well. The room was very pretty and I was happy that the individual beds were next to each other. The night was very cold but inside the hotel was very warm, with the climate control for the room working great as well.

The hotel is truly amazing. I loved the room and how silent it was. Perfect for working or relaxing. I also liked the gym.

The room was spacious enough, with amazing views towards the city and a very comfortable bed. It was a beautiful room overall. We would stay here again.

Location, location, location. Breath taking views

This was a last minute booking and by far best stay on our trip. Excellent service and facilities; relaxing and beautiful space. Breakfast was very good and fresh. Staff were so kind and attentive, nothing was too much.

Beautifully decorated and very cozy small local hotel which has very responsive staff, at a great value. I'll definitely try to stay here again when we return to Guimaraes.

The property was a combination of old and new, funky and beautiful.

We loved the location of the hotel... the rooms were spacious and the bed super comfortable. Loved having a coffee machine in the room... bathroom like a spa!

Loved the location right in the midst of this beautiful town! The staff were so accommodating & helpful. The room was great with awesome windows that opened over the village. The breakfast was really nice.
