Every single member of staff we met was so friendly and helpful. Special mention to Francisco in the restaurant who gave us some wonderful travel tips for our road trip through Portugal. Curia is an undiscovered gem. A 15 minute lovely walk from the accommodation gives gorgeous old affluent hotels/gardens/sculptures and tree lined avenues. One of our highlights in three months of travel!

Everything was great!! You can’t never find the accommodation with this price and quality. Also at night, it’s very calm and peaceful. Slept very well. Dona Paula was really nice and supportive. Even though I can’t speak Portuguese well, but I understood that she wants to help her guests with her maximum effort. Exerior of building might seem to old or in construction, however inside of the hotel is fine. Bath tub was really good to take a rest. Breakfast was simple but full enough for my caminho. Muito obrigado Dona Paula.

Our stay was excellent and offered great value for money. The pool area and surrounding amenities were outstanding — far above what you usually find in a hotel of this kind. The entire place was spotless, from the common areas to the rooms, which made the stay even more enjoyable. On top of that, the staff were consistently warm, helpful, and welcoming. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Nice, comfortable hotel with everything you need for a relaxing and quiet stay. Bedroom was very clean and spacious. Free toiletries and a wide selection of channels on the TV. Breakfast was good and varied. Seating downstairs by the fireplace was very nice.

Welcoming owners who allowed us to check in early. Charming old hotel with lots of character. Lovely swimming pool and garden. The owners kindly prepared us a packed breakfast as we were leaving early in the morning.
