A very nice, new property, beautifully decorated, right in the heart of Angra. Modern yet maintaining the charm and details of the original building, so you get a sense of Angra's history. Wonderful communication from the owner Raquel, she even got us a last-minute dinner reservation for New Year's Eve! And the breakfast was personalised, abundant and delicious, with very attentive staff (thank you Lu!). Parking on the street was easy to find. Entry/key pick-up was seamless. Almost felt like our own private place in the city. We will definitely return!

The gentlemen at the front desk went above all expectations. He was so kind in securing me a taxi to the airport when I hadn't booked one the day before. He truly saved me my flight. This hotel reminded me of the places we would stay as girls. If you want an authentic experience with a great location, please consider this hotel. Thanks a thousand times.

Great staff throughout! Clean hotel top to bottom. Nice rooms and common areas. Nice hot tubs,sauna and pool (cool this time of year but open) and elevator. Good location. Street parking was easy and inexpensive (payment only required during week days). Restaurants and cafes easy walking distance. Able to drive right to front door to deposit luggage even though in a restricted zone. Excellent breakfast.

The staff were lovely! They helped us get cabs, find the best pastries, and they explained the local culture to us. We also liked our room. The breakfast was lovely too.

The location is superb, overlooking the ocean and very peaceful. The facilities are impeccable - nicely decorated and spacious rooms, very well equipped gym and a spa with a beautiful sauna. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, especially Cecília at the front desk (who is also a yoga teacher). And breakfast is served in a room with a stunning view by the most amazing human Sérgio, who prepares everything beautifully and makes the experience so much more enjoyable with a little touch of entertaining conversation!

Grand hotel that I think has only recently opened. Lovely views of Monte Brasil. Has a swimming pool. Spacious airy feel to the place and interesting history. Staff are very helpful, professional and friendly. Very personalised feel to the place due to high staff/guest ratio; were able to assist me a lot. Nice breakfast. Large area in front of entrance to park car.
