Staying at the. Quinta da Fox was wonderful in every respect!! Our host was exceptionally kind and informative about the Quinta that hads been in his family for hundreds of years and many generations. His stories about it were fascinating. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious. We warwick eager to return!!

The home is a wonderful, large three-story house (lower level is downstairs but very big, bright and not at all like a typical “basement”) with a lot of room for a lot of people. It was just my husband and me with our tiny dog so we stayed on the main level where there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The decor is very tasteful and because we stayed Christmas week (festive Obidos, 20 mins away was our primary destination), Linda, our awesome host put out adorable decorations. She was always available to assist with anything and the glitch or two that we had, she bent over backwards to take care of. There are different beds to choose from and she has more than enough towels in all the bathrooms. The shower was great, high pressure and hot. The washer and dryer were helpful when staying longer. I wish we stayed in the summer because the pool and outdoor space look amazing. We highly recommend Foz Fancy Fun.

I love this little laid back village.

I love this little laid back village. You can walk anywhere and there are many places to sit along the beach and enjoy wine for under 2 euros a glass - including Onadas Cafe, Oasis, and Restaurante Marisol. The beach is pristine and the water is blue. It's a lovely spot that I have returned back to now 4 times and have another trip planned this coming fall. We like to eat at Ala Norte and Cocos, as well as Tibino. On the main street, you can get the best take away chicken at Churrasqueira Galaruxo. Be sure to ask for Peri Peri with the chicken. YUM! For a relaxed breakfast coffee and croissant - try Confluencia. Also, be sure to watch for an evening of wine tasting at the wine bar in town - also on Main Street. Trombones is also a favorite local hangout with music and drinks.

Fantastic beach and views, quieter this time of the year. If you kite surf it should be on your list of places to visit as the lagoon is perfect for the activity. In the summer season there is a lot more activity at the beach and the lagoon is ideal for the children to swim as it's very shallow. There are some great restaurants in the area and the quality of the food along with the value for money is great. Visited the area many times over the last 20 years, we are always drawn back every year as it is so well located to stay and visit other locations nearby.

The property was amazing and especially good for a large family or group of friends including children . The facilities were great - we didn't need for anything - and our host was fabulous. The local beach, bars, restaurants and town are only a short drive or about a 10 -20 minute walk depending the direction you take. There are so many bars/restaurants but we really liked Toa Toa and Tivola

It’s an impressive Lagoon with warmer pools for swimming.

It’s an impressive Lagoon with warmer pools for swimming. Great for kids, but always aware of the risks brought with the changing tide. The ocean beach was wild and spectacular do not really swimming weather. There were some nice bars snf restaurants, but not overpowering. Very much a Family resort. We liked the ones closest to Foz and in Foz itself.

Olga welcomed us with open arms into her beautiful home that was squeaky clean. The ample kitchen has all the equipment you need to cook up a storm, including herbs, salt, pepper and oil. The bedrooms are large with very comfortable mattresses. Views over the lagoon are stunning and it's easy to walk to Foz do Arelho beach with its magnificent waves.

The location is everything! You have the beach literally in front of the hotel You are lulled by the sound of the ocean. That was amazing. It is like traveling back to early 20th century. The vibes are amazing. You have private free parking in the property.

The hotel is really cosy and calm. It is also very clean and well located :) Our check in and check out experience was super smooth and friendly. Also, the breakfast buffet had everything what's needed both for adults and kids.
