The hotel is lovely and modern and has a great, relaxed feel to it. The best thing is the location: restaurants right outside the door, the shops just around the corner and the beach about 10 minutes away! It was so handy having everything so close. The staff were great with recommendations; we especially loved Ciuccio, Pomò and Casa do Prego. Even better, Padaria Central bakery is 30 seconds away. We had a lovely, relaxing stay and would stay there again. We parked in the public parking just 5 minutes from the hotel and it was free which was a bonus. Really recommend Praia de Dona Ana, you can walk there (about 20 minutes) and the boardwalks to the beach are great. We also went to see dolphins which was fantastic. What a great stay we’ve had!

All the staff are very sweet and helpful, quite service minded. I love the breakfast, good quality and has many options. The hotel is located in the heart of Lagos, there’s many shops and restaurants right next to it and it’s easy to get to everywhere. It’s very new, you can tell from the interior and cleanness, there’s nice scent throughout the whole area. The room I stayed has good sound isolation, I slept really well and barely heard anything from outside.

I cannot say enough about this property. We had two fantastic days there and were treated like royalty! The staff are incredibly helpful and professional. The room was huge and so comfortable. We were told we could have memory foam put on the mattress if the bed was too firm. We opted for this and were so comfortable. What other hotel offers this ?? We were driven down to the beach in a golf cart! Such a lovely place. The breakfast was delicious.

History and Sandy Algarve Beaches

With a long and rich history, Lagos is nowadays a famous beach resort of the sunny Portuguese region of Algarve. Including wide sandy beaches and quiet coves enclosed by ochre cliffs, it also offers a lively city centre with one of the best mixes between history and modernity in the region.

King Henry the Navigator chose it as a base for his trips of discovery during the 15th century, and later on, it became the residence of the Algarve governors. The Old Town is circled by medieval walls, typical narrow streets, historic buildings and charming squares. The old part of town is very pretty, with many restaurants. A great walking path along the cliff tops. Beautiful sea and clean beaches. Large supermarkets like Lidl, Intermarché, etc. Public parking is available, so you can safely leave your car on the street. Seagulls can be noisy at night and in the early morning. A great place for a great vacation with family or friends, I recommend it.

Lovely place, ideal for couple of older families. Marina is nice, couple of nice restaurants, old town is bustling and full of bars and restaurants. Not full of large groups and sports bars so ideal for a quieter stay.

Lagos offers beautiful beaches with a variety of dramatic landscapes. In addition, a very long beach is located just across the river. The city has a lot to offer in terms of restaurants, shopping and excursions. It is easy to walk along the promenade or the many small streets. I would recommend leaving your car just across the bridge and walking towards the city center. Lagos is centrally located along the Algarve which makes for easy car trips (about 30 min) to the many surfing beaches near Sagres and other cities like Portimão, etc. Faro airport is about an hour away by car. We enjoyed staying in Lagos.

We loved this resort.

We loved this resort. Lots of cafes and restaurants; wouldn't take TripAdvisor reviews at face value, as we went to the number one Indian restaurant; it was cheap, which reflected in the food. The large beach we went to by the marina was lovely; I would give Pizza Hut, which is situated in the marina, a wide berth food was terrible and very expensive. we booked a catamaran half-day cruise to Ponta da Piedade with lunch and unlimited drinks. The company was BlueFleet; highly recommend it. We also took the train to Albufeira for the day; glad we chose Lagos, not so busy and rowdy and better beaches. The price of food and drinks was not expensive, as I thought it would be, being on tha algrave coast.

Lagos is a beautiful destination with plenty of beaches...

Lagos is a beautiful destination with plenty of beaches where you can enjoy the sun and the ocean. Amazing food as well, we found a lot of gems with incredible food: Barbosa, Bueni, Adega da Marina, and Frango were some of our favorites. We also went kayaking which I recommend instead of a normal boat trip.

Lagos was really lovely.

Lagos was really lovely. This was my second time in Portugal and my first time to Lagos. The beaches near town are exceptional. Many accommodations are within walking distance to the beaches and town. Town is fun and lively with many great restaurants to visit. The waterfront is clean and lovely to stroll along. Lovely little city with great beaches and a 3 night stay was perfect.

Adults only was a new experience for us and so good…the resort was peaceful! Pools were a calm space and no early risers. The resort is very unusual in its set up with the rooms set at different angles with different outdoor spaces.2 pools with plenty of very comfortable loungers. The breakfast was the best I’ve seen outside a 5 star hotel…a fabulous spread each morning served in a lovely indoor/outdoor space. Highly recommend

The hotel is located in the heart of Lagos, small but comfortable for a short stay. It has everything you need, and the staff were friendly. Our room was ready when we arrived around noon, so we were able to check in early. They also kindly stored our luggage for a couple of hours after check-out. Restaurants and shops are very close by. The location is excellent, and the Wi-Fi worked great!

Loved the location as it was a short walk from the train station and easily located. Loved the vibe of the hotel. The breakfast menu was amazing with plenty of options. They even accommodated to store our bags given we had an early check out but a later train so gave us time to explore Lagos. Would give it a 5 star.

The BEST hotel in Lagos. The pool & pool area is clean. Staff are so welcoming & lovely couldn’t help you enough. Snack bar by the pool with pool toilets. No rush to leave when checking out & will still let you use the facilities. They kept luggage for us & provided a shower to freshen up before our flight.

Close to all amenities and the Marina. Very spacious inside and outside. Two minutes walk to facilities of the hotel and pool which was excellent. We arrived early in morning in Lagos and it was no problem meeting Ben who showed us to our apt and left a contact number if we had any issues or questions
