This is centrally located in a really old active farming town just below the mountains, stone buildings and narrow streets, farm animals and farmers on tractors back and forth thru the day. Really cool. Located within a very old but nicely maintained building, this cozy, well equipped unit with small kitchen, nice dining and living area and multiple small/bedrooms is exactly as expected for its heritage, and was very comfortable. Several well known hiking trails start just a few steps outside the door.

The view from the room was stunning, and the place was incredibly peaceful. We slept with the window open and had no issues with noise or mosquitoes. The restaurant was very good, offering an excellent selection of local meats. The location is also fantastic, close to Pitões das Junias with plenty of beautiful walking trails nearby.

A trip to Tourem is like time travel. It is mesmerising,out of this world. Casa de Campo Gracinda is a typical village natural stone house, restored to high and very tasteful standard. The rooms are warm and cosy with great on-suite facilities. The kitchen and lounge is very well equipped and comfortable. Unforunately our trip was accompanied by bad and cold weather, but the house was warm cosy and made more then up for it.

With Carvalhelhos Thermal Spa reachable in 25 miles, Casa Albelo do Gerês offers accommodations, a restaurant, an infinity pool, a garden, and a bar.

Very quiet, very remote place. Exceptional good food (from the village) for lunch and evening. Breakfast is not that big, but of extraordinary quality and taste. Staff is super friendly and supportive. Outstanding experience. Will come again.

Very nice and clean apartment with value for money. Rogerio was very nice to us and the house have everything needed for staying. The area is very quiet, in very unique village, there is no much activities around the house but within 30 minutes driving you can findmany things to do and see especially at nature.
