Amazing stay in Pico!! Everything has been renovated with taste, it feels like a modern and cozy home. The room is spacious, comfortable and with views. It's the perfect place to enjoy nature!! There are birds, cows, cats, chickens and infinite green. Best breakfast I have ever been served at B&B. Beautiful and modern kitchen, and common space with a piano, guitar, and sofas to chill!! Also lovely history of the family hobbies linked to the whalers past. Didi will make you feel at home you can see how much effort she makes everyday to make the guests happy! I have never given a 10, as for principal my maximum is 9.

It was exceptional in every way. It was a traditional house with modern amenities. It was exceptionally well equipped for comfort. It had a complete kitchen, with everything one could need including spices! Helena made us feel very welcome and did so much research to answer all our questions. Her thoroughness made it so we could relax quickly and enjoy our stay in Pico.

Pontas Negras is small but is near Lajes which has multiple...

Pontas Negras is small but is near Lajes which has multiple restaurants, a superb pastry cafe (Aromas e Sabores), a very large and a small grocery store, and tourist excursion possibilities. Most sites were within an hour's drive including Mt Pico, the ferry port to Faial which we took for a day excursion, and Magma Restaurant with great food and a view of Sao Jorge
