What's not to like about this wonderful hotel, where I've stayed before. The bedding is particularly good quality; the breakfast is both delicious and served in a lovely setting; and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Overall, our stay was excellent. Check-in was easy. The room was clean and decent size. The restaurant was delicious and worth the money. The picana was excellent. After dinner I asked a staff member about checkout as we were leaving early in the morning and they were very accommodating giving us instructions on what to do in the morning as there wouldn't be anyone at the counter. In the future, we will look to this place when needing a place to stay.

Heavens Edge is a small suite of studio size apartments with just the right amount of amenities, located on the edge of the very walkable village of Sao Bras de Alportel. As such, there are plenty of places to walk! But I’ll tell you a secret: The owners are AMAZING! That’s why we came back 3 years later (well, that and you won’t find a better place for anywhere near the money). Beatriz is a lovely human soul who is attentive but never intrusive, but very personable.

From the moment we saw the place and the moment we were greeted by the host Nidia we knew we found the perfect place. She was so kind and helpful and made us feel like it was our home away from home. Great location, great amenities very very clean, tidy and well looked after. We couldn’t fault the property at all and would definitely stay here if we had time. Nadia’s place is amazing would definitely recommend 10 out of 10

The location was perfect for a quiet stay yet not far from any of the cities where restaurants, stores etc. can be found. We enjoyed our hosts very much, wonderful people, very helpful and caring they went out of their way to make us comfortable and welcome. The apt. was spacious and had everything you need. Sylvie and JC really put thought into what their guests might require. The property was lovely, pool, frisbee golf, bowls and a really beautiful view. A short walk 15-20 mins. to a lovely cafe that serves English breakfast. Definitely coming back our next stay in the Algarve!
