Excellent hotel. Impeccable service - we would like to thank Denilson at reception, Vinícius, Carol and Patricia who always welcomed us very well at breakfast. Spacious and well decorated rooms. Complimentary mineral water and Nespresso. Beautiful pool. Close to the main and best golf courses in the region. We highly recommend it!

The hotel was really nice - my daughter stayed in a Villa across the road so spent all my days over there, but the hotel was lovely The hotel staff were very friendly - I reported my Air Conditioning wasn't working to reception and it was sorted that same day Great Location with free shuttle bus from and to the Hilton across the road to the Marina daily - plus was able to use the Spa facilities at the Hilton should I wish to do so The food was great - I was breakfast only and plenty of choice was on offer I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay - although not much for children to do other than the pool - best for Adults only stay

A luxury, purpose-built resort along the Algarve region coastline offering a variety of accommodation ranging from 5-star hotels to villas and apartments, Vilamoura is the largest complex of its type in Europe. It is conveniently located, 16 km from Albufeira and 25 km from Faro Airport.

Its heart and soul lies around the exclusive Marina, while the 20 square kilometre development is flanked by a Golf Academy and 6 Golf Courses. It also includes a casino and a variety of sports facilities, comprising a diving club and a large, sandy beach. Look if you are a family, or just a couple this is the place for you. Great rooms, great facilities, great food and bar area, great pool. And the location is perfect to be out of the town but easy to get to by foot or shuttle. Highly recommended.

It’s quite nice, but there aren’t many activities to enjoy. I believe a few days, at most three, would be enough. A car is necessary for getting around locally, but their native taxi app is very user-friendly and affordable. Uber is also available in the area.

Vilamoura is on the up.

Vilamoura is on the up. Money seems to be invested and it was noticeably cleaner and smarter than our previous visits. Its easy to get to from the airport - less than 30 minutes transfer - and the roads are good, plenty of parking, signposts perhaps less so! The marina is lovely, but can get quite busy, especially of an evening, but the wide choice of bars and restaurants mean prices are quite good value. If you go one or two streets back from the waterfront, the quality remains similar, but the prices drop too. Falesia beach is a lovely beach, probably the better of the two beaches either side of the marina, and The Thai Beach Club is great for lunch, daybeds, or dinner, and goes crazy at weekends!

Vilamoura Marina is a fantastic place to visit, with a lively atmosphere and a beautiful waterfront setting. There is a great selection of restaurants, cafés, and bars, making it ideal for both daytime walks and evening dining. The marina is clean, well maintained, and offers lovely views of the boats and surrounding area. It’s a perfect spot to relax, enjoy the scenery, and soak up the holiday atmosphere. Highly recommended when visiting Vilamoura.

Not that much to do in the resort.

Not that much to do in the resort. Wide choice of restaurants, cuisines and bars that offered good food but were pricey for Portugal. The two beaches were a good size with golden sand (we particularly liked Falesia) so a good resort if a low key beach-orientated holiday is sought. Public transport not great in the area but it is possible to get a public bus to other towns such as Albufeira. We took the small ferry from Vilamoura to Albufeira and back which we enjoyed

Lovely relaxing apartments, very large with everything you would need, we got an upgrade to an apartment with a massive terrace with beautiful views of the golf course and lake. All the English and Irish TV stations on the television that you would need. Its about a 25 minute leisurely walk to the Marina in Vilamoura, Ubers available for about €4 . I would highly recommend these Apartments.

We absolutely loved the the village, the choice of pools, restaurants and cafes and playground was perfect for our small children. We had a large family group with some staying in different apartments, a villa and the four seasons hotel and it was so handy to be so close to each other. We enjoyed the 20 minute walk to the marina but a Uber was also a very cheap option. We will definitely return.

Excellant place to stay. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It was very peaceful and relaxing in comparison to the larger hotels. I used Uber to go the Marina in the evenings and had no issue with this. The added bonus is that its dog friendly. The breakfast was lovely and the grounds well maintained. Overall a really enjoyable stay as a solo traveller.
