This was truly one of the best hotel stays we have ever had. The hospitality of the family owned hotel was extraordinary — Maria went far beyond anything you would expect. She prepared a wonderful homemade dinner and a delicious breakfast, and even helped with laundry since we were very wet from walking the Camino, which is something you simply don’t find at most hotels. The hotel itself is beautiful, warm, and impeccably maintained. The indoor heated pool was a huge bonus. Every detail felt thoughtful and personal, with so many little extras that other hotels just don’t do anymore. This place is right off of the Portuguese Camino and felt less like a hotel and more like being welcomed into a very special home. We can’t recommend it highly enough and would absolutely stay here again.

Staying here was a dream! The beautiful location inside a vineyard is itself lovely. The incredible thoughtfulness of the owners and staff make this exceptional. We really enjoyed the basket of breakfast, the arrival cake and wine, enjoying it outside with the birdsong and sunshine…Vinha is just down the road from all the sites of Ponte de Lima. Resting up on the sun loungers, enjoying the clean pool, the jacuzzi at Vinha was deeply relaxing. We also enjoyed the fire pit. Maria and Ana are very warm and caring. It felt like childhood summers where all your cares are provided for and you deeply enjoy relaxing in nature. We brought our cat and his tent and every morning he loved getting out into the morning sun. The design of the rooms is really smart with clever details like the door’s window design so he could watch birds outside all day.

Amazing breakfast every morning!

Beautiful grounds, pools, outdoor lounging. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cooking supplies. The hostess was wonderful, helpful and considerate. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Lovely hosts, flexible, comfortable, quiet

We had a short but very pleasant stay at the Inlima Hotel. Firstly, all the receptionists were incredibly friendly and helpful. Secondly, the room was amazing—not only was it spacious, but it also featured a large balcony with a stunning view of the church and a partial view of the river. The room included a safe and a small refrigerator, though I would suggest adding a kettle for convenience. The breakfast was more than adequate, offering a variety of options like bacon, mushrooms, eggs, and a wide selection of pastries and fruit (including watermelon, melon, oranges, and more). Additionally, you can order espresso or cappuccino. The location is excellent—just a 3-minute walk to the main promenade and nearby attractions. There's also a huge free parking area surrounding the hotel (the entrance is on the left), so finding a spot is never an issue. Overall, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable experience and would definitely return.

Probably the best place we have stayed in Portugal. The location and accommodation were outstanding. The manor’s history and architecture was also top notch.

The room was very nice and the hotel and restaurant were elegant. We had dinner and breakfast, and both were exceptionally good. The two men who ran the place did not speak English but still managed to convey the very most welcoming and helpful attitudes.

Very clean and comfortable. Good location. Near bars and they warned about noise and even provided ear plugs but it didn't bother us at all. They provided cold water, clean towels and toiletries. It had a chiller. The bathroom was clean and well-designed. The room was compact but very, very cozy. The staff was easy to contact and replied promptly. It was easy to access the rooms.
