Beautiful location in the middle of nature, close to Sarmizegetusa Regia (~1h by car) and other historical sites. The stuff is very friendly, the food is tasty with home made ingredients from local vegetables, locally made drinks as well. We were lucky to have a campfire after dinner accompanied by folk and rock live music with acoustic guitars. I was also impressed about the library and about the Dacia Foundation they run to promote Dacian historical and cultural heritage.

Easy to reach, the roads are ok.

Easy to reach, the roads are ok. The trails are easy to medium, well maintained, with very beautiful surroundings. Instead, don't expect much from the tourist attractions (eg: Blidaru Citadel). We still have a lot of work to "commercialize" what we have. Sarmizegetusa Regia is better though. Overall, if you are curious about a little history or are passionate about archeology, the entire area is very cool.
