I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience -the room was spacious and clean, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay. While the hotel is simple, it is decent in every respect and provides good value for its category. One of the biggest advantages is the private parking, which is extremely convenient given the central location. The breakfast was equally decent—nothing extravagant, but fresh and satisfying to start the day. The hotel personnel was friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. Overall, it’s a solid choice for anyone looking for a centrally located, budget-friendly place to stay for transit.

I loved Severin's Fortress, it was such an amazing find and...

I loved Severin's Fortress, it was such an amazing find and I could have stayed all day. The city itself is pedestrian friendly with a lot of options for eating. The weather wasn't great and the fountains weren't on but that's about the only bad thing I could say about the stay.

New and old combination, great parks and gardens, history. Easy to walk around,long distances by taxi but good price .La Marinaru restaurant for fish! Ada Kale coffee and bistro for turkish coffee and food! Taxi Nova for getting around!

It is a border town with all the problems that come with...

It is a border town with all the problems that come with that. I cycled from Serbia and there was a shocking amount of dead dogs on the road. Then, terribly, there were young girls working as sex workers on the first off ramp. Just shocking. The Romanian Government has to help these people. It was so sad to see them.

The room was very basic but perfect for a one night stay.

The room was very basic but perfect for a one night stay. There was a restaurant on location in the inner yard of the building, in a beautiful garden setting. The food was delicious! Because of the restaurant, the garden may get noisy in the summer months but it was pretty quiet at the beginning of October. There were many cars parked on the street so it may get tricky to park in peak season. The city is easy to get around in and the city center is a 20 minute walk from the hotel.

After two vacations in Romania and staying at 8 different places, this might be the best place we've been at. The apartment is close to the city center, and has easily available parking spots. There are plenty of stores, restaurants and bars nearby. The place is nicely furnished and clean, feels homely, and has all necessary comforts for one to enjoy their stay. The hostess was extremely nice and welcoming, and she even took time to write in our own language when needed. We'll gladly stay there again.

The hotel is centrally located and was easy to locate. It was very comfortable and has a restaurant where we ate. The food was delicious and the waiter that attended to us was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, unfortunately I cannot recall his name, but I believe he was the senior person in charge of the restaurant. The reception staff both in the evening and again in the morning were very helpful and charming.

Arrived around 2100 hrs on two motorbikes. The Hosts waited with great food and cold beer. After riding the whole day we had nice couple of hours in the patio. Breakfast and coffee the next day were also an enjoyable beginning of the forthcoming adventure in Romania. Thanks again :)
