I'd liked the little orange kitten, he was also friendly and welcoming. I liked the availability of a larger wine than just one glass.

Fundata is one of those rare places where time slows down...
Fundata is one of those rare places where time slows down and nature takes center stage. Nestled at 1,360 meters, it’s the highest village in Romania, and you feel that altitude in the crisp air, sweeping views, and peaceful silence. It’s ideal for anyone craving a break from city chaos.
Fundata is remote, but manageable. If you’re driving, the roads are winding but scenic. Public transport is limited, so a car is highly recommended. Once you’re there, most places are walkable or accessible by short drives. GPS works well, but cell signal can be patchy in the hills.

This place it's like heaven, quiet, green, peaceful.
This place it's like heaven, quiet, green, peaceful. It is perfect though you are going with your family or friends or you just want to relax and run away from the crowd of the cities.
Definitely I will go back and I highly recommend for summer seasons or for winter ones.

The pensiune was alone without any neighbours except the cows and horses ;-) This also meant we we not bothered by partiers. We had to go to Moieciu de Sus for hiking trails. The views are spectacular and you will use up all the memory on your camera! It was not as convenient to get to the store to get some last minute things or, as I mentioned, get to hiking trails. We did not find any restaurants there and only one small convenience store which is in Fundata proper, not where we stayed.
The views of the mountains, hills and trees are second to none! You do not need to hike to see the mountains, just look out your window or go out your door. Very peaceful and quiet. A great place to go to relax.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly and helpful staff. Special shoutout to Gigi at the reception, who was incredibly professional and went above and beyond to assist me. My room was spotless and offered a beautiful view, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The restaurant exceeded my expectations with its delicious food and attentive staff. Overall, this hotel provided an exceptional experience, and I can't wait to return!

The staff is above anything else. Kind, warm, knowledgeable. Nothing is an issue, They know everything, They can do anything. The hotel is clean and organised, none of that ‘oooo sorry’ you hear everywhere else. They run it well. The food is amazing and very fresh, the “Afinata” is the best !
We definitely recommend this place !

The view from the hotel is simply gorgeous!
There are beautiful small areas to sit/drink/eat, and a lot of care is invested in the gardens
Having a pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, and a place for the kids to play soccer was great as well.
We took a room that had 2 bedrooms, and the rooms are huge, there's really big closet

We loved Fundata and especially the accommodation. It is comfortable, clean and nice. We had a lovely view from our balcony. The host is super nice and warm and his home made pizza is simply yummy! We enjoyed our stay in this place!
