The guesthouse is wonderful, located right in the middle of the forest, near the archaeological site of Sarmizegetusa Regia. We were accommodated in the new building of the guesthouse, which had only been open for 3 weeks. The room was big and clean, the food was tasty and the pool was great.

Fantastic location and exceptional host. Great attention to detail in the design of the house, rooms and amenities. Impressive woodwork ! Located on the main road to Sarmizegetusa Regia, about 30 min away, in a valley by the river bank, with pristine forest all around.

Beautiful location in the middle of nature, close to Sarmizegetusa Regia (~1h by car) and other historical sites. The stuff is very friendly, the food is tasty with home made ingredients from local vegetables, locally made drinks as well. We were lucky to have a campfire after dinner accompanied by folk and rock live music with acoustic guitars. I was also impressed about the library and about the Dacia Foundation they run to promote Dacian historical and cultural heritage.

We had the most wonderful weekend here. The hosts are extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. The location is truly magical — tucked away in the mountains, it feels both remote and peaceful. Our room was beautiful, with an amazing view over the mountains during the day and a sky full of stars at night. It was the perfect setting to relax, unwind, and just enjoy the moment together. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a special getaway.

It's a rather remote village, with beautiful and almost undisturbed nature around. Phone reception can be patchy (although we had no problem with internet once in the place where we stayed). Nature lovers will not be disappointed.
