Everything is perfect! Stefan and his wife are very helpful. Stefan has been extremely kind and offered us food, did our laundry, and has just been the best possible host. The kitchen has everything you need. The surrounding area is breathtaking and a perfect starting point for hikes on Komoot and so on. Soooo serene, so beautiful, so authentic. I wish we had more time than one day.

Amazing host very helpful. We were a group of friends and family , we had part of the group had an issue in another hotel checking in at 4am. They accompanied and assisted us and found solution for us made us comfortable after a long 10hr journey.

The property is very nice, located in Răchițele, a beautiful small village in the Apuseni Mountains from where I began my hike to Vălul Miresei Waterfall (“Bride’s Veil”) and then to the Cabana Vlădeasa (about 6 hours hike). The room was comfortable and clean. The host was very kind. There is a shared living room space down stairs and four rooms upstairs. Rooms were well heated. Nice view from the place to the surrounding mountains. There is also a shared kitchen that I appreciated.

Rachitele is a great, comfortable place at the foot of the mountain. Up towards the mountain, Doda Pilii plateau and the virgin forests of the Warm Somes River are just a short trip away. Down from Rachitele, the drive to Bologa is one of the jewels along the valley of the Crisul Repede. Go there! You will return!
