We stayed overnight, on our way back to Finland from Norway.

We stayed overnight, on our way back to Finland from Norway. This was a main city on the highway. You can easily find anything you need and road connections are also good. In Sweden, to my surprise, staying in remote locations can be tricky sometimes.

The owner are German and thats what you get. Grundlichheit. Great lodge almost in the center of Arvidsjaur. Would be great if the also served food in the summer. But who cares? There is a great greek restaurant within 3 minutes walking. Great rooms and good breakfast.

This is the smaller of the town's two main hotels and seems more welcoming . Close to the Lappstaden -a surviving Lapp village still used for Sami festivals - to our mind this is Arvidsjaur's key attraction

We arrived cold and wet after a long and very wet motorcycle ride from Ostersund We got a lovely welcome and could immediately use the sauna and the fantastic jacuzzi. Very nice hotel. Good food
