Location was really good, and the staff were very helpful.

The hotel was really convenient for where we needed to be. Not convenient if you want to be in central Gothenburg though. The unit was VERY clean as was the bathroom. The whole place was clean and fresh and modern. The instructions we received beforehand with the code to get into the building, the parking pass and where the key was, were accurate and we had no problems whatsoever. If you need to be in Torslanda and want a studio apartment, this is a great place. It is not a hotel as such, no reception, no bar, no restaurant, etc but they sent suggestions for where to have breakfast + there is a large supermarket in the square.

Arken Hotel & Art Garden Spa is in the Arendal harbor district, only 15 minutes’ drive from central Gothenburg. Free WiFI and bookable spa facilities are available.

Something better than this would be difficult to find. The cabin was perfect with everything that I could need. It was very spacious with a great sea view. Kitchen had all the utensils I could need from a water kettle for tea to a dishwasher. I travelled alone with the goal of disconnection and relaxation but there is enough space to a larger group of people. The location is perfect, the shop (ICA) is near and within walking distance from the pier where the ferry leaves you or a bust stop. Best of all, the location between Hönö and Öckero islands. This way one can go hiking north to Öckero and Hälsö one day and another day go south to hike around Hönö and Fotö.
