Our room was very comfortable with a bathtub, skylights, and a view of the surrounding mountains. The dining room has glass walls for maximum enjoyment of the breathtaking views, and the staff went above and beyond their required duty to ensure that our stay was comfortable. A favorite of our entire trip.

I had a great one night stay at Joe's. The owner, Riccardo is very kind , and absolutely helpful. He has a rich life story to share with you, about his bike trips around the world over decades. Clean and calm private room. The shared kitchen offers tea , coffee, bread and jam for breakfast. The neighbourhood's so peaceful and I really enjoyed a slow morning, and the view of the mountains around, it is spacious.

We loved our 2 night stay here. The owners were so kind to upgrade us to the apartment-style room, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Great location, very friendly staff, and fabulous breakfast. Would highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful three-day stay at this romantic and historic hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious with working AC. The staff were all incredibly friendly, but the best part was the delicious and healthy breakfast. The eggs were always cooked perfectly, and the large selection of fresh, unsweetened fruits was fantastic. We would absolutely stay here again.

First, I did not understand the lower rankings of this hotel, as everything was excellent. The staff at the hotel, from check-in to check-out, provided excellent tips for rafting and booked rafting trips for us, all of which were well-organised and effective. The staff in the hotel cafe bar were wonderful too. Our room was amazing, it was so warm outside, but we did not even need an air conditioner. Beautiful view. The breakfast was very generous, and a wide variety of local products were available. Very environmentally friendly, with a reduced carbon footprint. The hotel was genuinely doing it; it is the way of life. Well done.

Awesome place, a very nice and comfortable apartment, where you feel everything is well thought through. There are honks where you need them, electrical points where they are important. A lot of small details make it a wonderful place. To Peter and his wife, thank you. If I am back in Bovec, this is where I want to stay again.

Log pod Mangartom is an excellent base for all adrenaline activities. It’s a small place without nightlife, making it an ideal location for sports and outdoor enthusiasts. There are many foreigners, and it is filled with positive energy because the natural surroundings make you forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I recommend early morning walks as the freshness, scents, meadows, and mountains will leave you breathless with their beauty.

No restaurants at all available (back in 2018 in Hotel Alpine there were awesome pizzeria), no shops - nearest is 12 km away in Bovec, church bells wake you up in 7 AM. Surrounding area is extraordinary beautiful, air is and water are first class.
