We were the only guests at the time. Room and facilities were very functional, squeaky clean, and a little Spartan. Breakfast was great, served by a staff member who was friendly and attentive.

Everything looks exactly in the photos. Louise and Roger are the best hosts. I recommend you should take dinner and small buffet breakfast here for reasons: tasty, good and qualily. The room is very clean, it feels cozy like home. We have a dog with us so pets are allowed and a good place to have pets with. I will surely come back here next time if I go to Slovenia. I really recommend you to come here for a spectacular landscape, for your mind and your soul.

The owner is so kind and welcoming that you feel completely at home since the first moment! I stopped here during a bike trip, I had booked last minute a bed in a dorm but they were having issues with the facilities so they gave me a full apartment for the same price. The location is really nice and quiet, you have amazing views on the surrounding mountains and with a nice hike either along the river or in the hills, you can easily get both to Tolmin and to its beautiful gorges. I liked it so much that I decided to stay one day more, totally recommended!

The wooden tent Was great! Very clean, with comfortable mattress. The area is beafutifull, a huge garden where you can play however you want. Even a swimming pool. Every tent has its own fridge. There is also a common kitchen, fully equipped.

The view over the valley, the cabin with air conditioning, the 2 sun loungers under the walnut tree, the table and chairs overlooking the beautiful view of the valley and the undercover table and chairs if you need shelter from the sun or rain. We stayed 3 nights and took all the food we'd need so we didn't need to drive back and forth whilst there. We managed to fit everything into the kitchen and small fridge and managed well with the one pan hob. There's a great sandwich toaster and a kettle. We walked to and from Tolmin Gorges, which was exhausting in the heat but worth it. We loved everything about our stay. The owner and Nelly, his friendly dog, were lovely.

The Tolmin Gorge is an absolute must do.

The Tolmin Gorge is an absolute must do. We also climbed the hill up to the Kozlov Rob castle, but a portion of the castle was blocked off, which was a disappointment. A much better use of our time would have been to drive up sooner to Kolovrat Museum of the First World War; which isn't a museum, but a fascinating preservation of WW 1 bunkers and some of the most spectacular views of mountains and sea you will experience while in Slovenia. It got dark before we could fully explore the trails, tenches and bunkers.

A beautiful quaint town on the Soca Vaey.

A beautiful quaint town on the Soca Vaey. Loads of swimming spots along the river, and a place to rent kayaks, sups etc at the dam. I recommend travveling along the river, up to Gabrje and further for more beautiful river locations. We stayed just outside of town, which I recommend if you have your own transport. I didn't do anything in the town itself as its great just to relax along the river on a sunny day, or go kayaking on the river.

The Gorge is very beautiful and there are many hiking and walking trail around. The museum of Tolmin is really interesting. I'd recommend going there with nice weather, there is little to be done when it is raining.

Tomlinson was a great stop on our hiking adventure.

Tomlinson was a great stop on our hiking adventure. The gorge and castle ruins were good to see and with it being a bigger town then we had been in on our travels we were able to restock our hiking supplies.

Great base for getting out to other hiking areas waterfalls and canyons. The Town centre is dated and quite dirty. Only a few restaurants all with the same items on the menu, but all good quality and very low prices.

Well equipped apartment with a superb living room and lovely garden and outside space. Modern finish and nice touches such as electric motorised blinds. Location is top-notch to explore Tolmin and the whole Soča Valley. The host is super friendly, chatty and helpful and made us feel at home. My parents and I had a great time there with everything we needed.

Very clean, very spacious. Linen and towels smelled amazing and were very comfortable. Cleaner was very very kind. Very close to Tolmin Gorges and Memorial Church of the Holy Spirit. Beautiful views everywhere and not too far and nice walk to shops in Tolmin. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Staff were lovely and friendly! It was the perfect spot for an overnight stay. Set in beautiful gardens which we really enjoyed sitting in. Less than 10 minutes drive to tolmin gorge which is definitely worth a visit.
