We did like the garden, because we had two dogs with us. Also the quiet place and mountain view and the barbecue place. Beds were really comfortable. Nice a and big bathroom. The property is well situated, very short drive to shops or restaurants in the city.

As the name suggest, it is really a premium hostel. Located in the hart of the town, in a old house that was transformed into a modern hostel. Big rooms, comfortable beds. Clean bathrooms and toilets. Nice Ikea furniture.

This is a perfect place for exploring Kobarid and the surrounding areas. The rooms are small but comfortable and very clean. The shared spaces are well stocked (kettle, tea/coffee, utensils, etc.) and the showers/WCs are also very clean. Breakfast is delicious - self-serve espresso machine, scrambled eggs, meat, cheese, fruit, yogurt and more. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and went out of their way to help me out. I would absolutely stay here again if I am in Kobarid!

Kobarid is a truly beautiful and charming town that serves...

Kobarid is a truly beautiful and charming town that serves as the perfect base for exploring this stunning part of Slovenia. We were absolutely amazed by how much there is to see and do in the immediate area. Right in the nearby surroundings, you can find the spectacular Kozjak Waterfall (Slap Kozjak), which is just a short and scenic walk away. Hidden inside a stunning, cave-like amphitheater with crystal-clear turquoise water, it feels like a hidden paradise and is an absolute must-see. Not far from there, you will also find the famous Tolmin Gorges (Tolminska korita). This breathtaking natural wonder with its dramatic moss-covered canyons and emerald river is just a short drive away and definitely worth a visit. For history lovers, the Italian Charnel House (the moving WW1 memorial overlooking the town) offers a deeply powerful experience along with beautiful panoramic views of the valley. To top it all off, the local culinary scene is fantastic, with excellent restaurants nearby serving delicious food after a long day of adventure. Kobarid has completely captured our hearts, and we highly recommend visiting this magical region!

Kobarid is a wonderful place to visit — we explored Napoleon Bridge, Kozjak Waterfall, and the stunning Soča River. Also took a bus trip to see Tolmin Gorge and Virje Waterfall. We ate at a fantastic Italian restaurant in Kobarid, where the food was delicious and the service outstanding — highly recommended.

Kobarid is a nice little town situated on Soča river between Tolmin and Bovec. There are numerous possibilities of outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, paragliding, kayaking or simply taking a dip in stunningly turquoise Soča. Short drive to Nadiža river which is also beautiful. Kozjak waterfall and hanging bridges are obligatory to visit.

Kobarid is a very charming place, ideal for an active vacation. However, there aren’t many cycling routes separate from the main road, which can sometimes feel inconvenient or less safe. Compared to other nearby towns, Kobarid is quite small.

Kobarid is a nice town by the river Soca with only cca 1000...

Kobarid is a nice town by the river Soca with only cca 1000 inhabitants, but as a regional center the town serves a cca 5000 heads strong community. Worth to visit the Kobarski Muzej (WWI museum), the town center with the church, restaurants and very very good ice cream. Do not miss to climb up to the church and Italian monument, check out the Napoleonov most (Napoleon's bridge) and the Slap Kozjak (Kozjak waterfall). These are all accessible on foot. You can also take a tour following a marked hiking trail, see the beautiful nature, the mountains, the emerald color of the Soca river, historical monuments line WWI trenches and forts all along the river. Enjoy yourselves!

My visit to Kobarid (Caporetto) was primarily to spend time...

My visit to Kobarid (Caporetto) was primarily to spend time in its superb war museum and the WWI open air museum on the Kolovrat 15 kms to the east. As mid-September is classed as 'out-of-season' getting to the latter proved difficult (no public transport out of season!) but with the kindness of strangers - the people of Kobarid - I was able to make it there. The scenery in this part of Slovenia is spectacularly beautiful, the people of Kobarid warm, helpful and friendly. I hope to go back some day.

A spacious and well-equipped (from water cooker to laundry machine) apartment in a quiet small village near Kobarid (4 km), a fifteen-minute walk above the beautiful Nadiza river (perfect for your daily walk and/or swim). Anders and Jane seem to be gradually turning this place into their second home - the best is yet to come! The description and pictures on Booking show the apartment exactly as it is. Communication with Anders and the local housekeeper was smooth and friendly.

Everything good, you have kitchen, aircon, coffee maker, kettle, kind of fully equipped, no microwave but ok Hot water is working well, temperature is constant If we'll be back to Bovec, we'll definitely book here again Host is nice she is helpful, I had a little to figure out about internet and she tried her best and it's working well after Parking is free Hotel located in city center so if you want to eat anything, restaurants are just few minutes walk

This is a cosy studio apartment right in the centre of Kobarid. The jacuzzi and sauna were a fantastic bonus which we enjoyed after a days hiking. It is in a perfect location to explore the Soča valley. The apartment was clean and the bed very comfortable. The property manager also helpfully organised taxi from and to the train station at quite unsociable times which was very helpful.

It was very clean and brand new premisses. They take care of all the details for comfort and safety. The kitchen has all the necessary things for cooking and storage your food, even the possibility to label them to put into the fridge. The bathroom was clean and tidy, confortable showers and beds. Great location on Kobarid and free parking near.
