LithuaniaSelf check-in – we had no problems at all. The only thing was that at first we had to leave the car outside the barrier to get the keys. The apartment is spacious, with a wonderful terrace overlooking the mountains. A big plus for cozy evenings – a fireplace with firewood! (It wasn’t very easy to light, but still, a great bonus.). The apartment had all the necessary items.
The hosts replied quickly and were very kind and helpful – always ready to sort things out and offer help if needed
They accepted our dog for a small additional fee. There’s a kitchenette with all the necessary dishes. Nearby (about a 5-minute walk) there’s a campsite with a snack bar and an outdoor terrace where you can have a proper meal. The location is very convenient if you’re traveling by car.

It's a close village next to High Tatras, the main purpose...
It's a close village next to High Tatras, the main purpose of this village is to offer cheaper accommodation for people wanting to visit the national park. The village also has some nice restaurants nearby and a mini train station that connects to nearby villages like Stary Smokovec or Tatranska Lominica from where you can go to the entirety of the national park. I would say that the mini train station is quite far away by foot especially the more south you go in the village. There is some buses around the village that are supposed to connect to the other villages in Tatras, though I've never personally used them.

Stará Lesná is a quiet and pleasant village, just 3–4 km...
Stará Lesná is a quiet and pleasant village, just 3–4 km from the mountains. It has a nearby train station and a few good restaurants. The closest larger grocery store is in Veľká Lomnica, around 4 km away. A great base for exploring the area.

The cabin is clean, with attention to detail.

The owners are friendly and easy to contact when necessary.
There are more than enough rooms for a small family or even a few couples.
There are good facilities in the cabin.
We could order food on the Bistro app, but the driver struggled to find the cabin.
The "yard" is spacious and has nice facilities.
The nearest "popular" towns and shops are about 15 - 30 minutes drive away.
It's a great place to stay if you want to spend time at the cabin and not see too many sites (without driving)
They should look into replacing the living room light, as any person taller than 1.8m will bump their head a few times.
A vibrating noise comes from the external camera, which disturbs bedtime.

Our stay at Stará Lesná was fantastic!
Our stay at Stará Lesná was fantastic! The owners were incredibly helpful, and kind and helped us get the most out of our trip. The rooms were spotless and we had the most incredible view from our balcony. Breakfast was tasty and varied and the dining room was again spotless and airy.
The hotel is located minutes away from all the hikes we did and there are a few good restaurants within walking distance.
It was an active but wonderfully peaceful trip and I can't wait to visit again. Dakujem!!

Not much to see, as it’s in the middle of the fields.
Not much to see, as it’s in the middle of the fields. In this area, there are many local residents (Romani people) with freely roaming dogs who constantly circle around and observe who is where."

Breakfast was fine, for that price I missed there nuts and more fresh fruits...location was nice - nature, fresh and clean "tatranský vzduch", hotel also offered bufet dinner that was really good...electric kettle in the room with tea, sparkling water with announcement: welcome and feel good here, veru good wellness, nice kind stuff

Nice, spacious , clean apartment with balcony overlooking a creek. Elektricka stop ( Stara Lesna ) is just 1 km, so 10 min walk. All tracking path can be reached easily. Its a great place to stay.

The room was fine; it was quiet and dark. They prepared a bed and bowl for our dog. The sauna/wellness was good.
