I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Anahuac! The rooms were comfortable and the patio was beautifully decorated. The highlight of my stay was Maria’s breakfast. Her hospitality and exceptional culinary skills made each breakfast a delightful experience. If you're looking for a place to stay in Juayua, Hotel Anahuac is the place to be. Highly recommended!

From the very first day, all the staff were very kind to us. The view from our room was spectacular, and we felt so comfortable that we ended up staying two extra nights! I highly recommend taking the Seven Waterfalls tour with Antonio!

Like other reviews for Mixtepek the rooms are clean and what you would expect for a hostel. What makes this hostal standout is the hands on approach of the owners Ovi and Daysi. They will help you with any tours, rentals or travel plans. Alonso is always around to assist with any questions you may have if Ovi is not there. In our case, we were injured in an accident and Ovi and Daysi came and picked us up when we were released from the hospital. Not only that, there were no other taxis available, so he drove us to our next destination in Nahuizalco. They are truly amazing people, we are so grateful for their kindness and generosity..

What Guests Said About Juayúa:

We loved Juayua.

We loved Juayua. People talk about Ataco being their favorite but we don't agree. There was something about Juayua that captured our hearts. When you are there, you MUST do the 7 Waterfalls hike. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

Juayua was so walkable and very clean.

Juayua was so walkable and very clean. We were there over the weekend and really enjoyed mixing with the locals in the church, the square and at the Food Festival. We really appreciated the towns efforts to keep the streets and parks so clean. It was a nice change from San Salvador and Santa Ana.

Nice walkable town with cafes, coffees shops, a market, town square & pretty church. Great climate - warm in day & cool at night. Access to waterfalls. Can also get cheap public buses to other towns like Ataco and the thermal hot springs.

A small little town in the rutas de floras.

A small little town in the rutas de floras. I would spend two nights here and try to rent a moto to see the other places, otherwise, start your day early and use the buses to connect to other towns. Just make sure to catch the last bus back to town as they do not run late into the night

The town is pleasant. Nice central park.

The town is pleasant. Nice central park. Lots of restaurants. Ate at the mexican, chinese, and pizza spot. The food in all three was very good and inexpensive. Handy location to visit other towns on the 'Ruta des Flores' by bus. Not overly touristic for its size.
