The hostess was extremely helpful, 100/10. We had an accident on the island, she helped us a lot, came to the place where accident happened, helped me to get to the hospidal, sat with us for 3 hrs, ordered a lift back. Amazing treatment. All the people on the island were friendly, right next to the Simple there's a sweet cafe with amazing food and very sweet lady keeping it. The housing is, as the name reveals, very simple, but had everything we needed. Would recommend. The wifi worked better than the places we were on Bkk oh Phuket. We even had breakfast included, but we slept into that.

If you are looking for a quiet, authentic, chilled stay in a small fishing village on Koh Yao Noi... definitely stay here! Location is remote - you will need a scooter to get around the island. This, however is not an issue, as Sasina- the owner - is the best- she will help you with everything - she picked me up from the pier, sorted out a scooter, recommended and offered excursions, places to go, and all. Although I did not need, she can sort out your laundry too. This is a 4 unit homestay ( along some more in the village) , with a lovely back porch leaning out to the beach, filled with Mangrove trees, a fridge full of beer and other drinks ( at 7 Eleven prices ). Great seafood restaurant just around the corner. The room was nice, well equipped, clean and I did not even see a single ant or insect, even though it would be well expected in such a natural environment. Shower was great - A/C was strong - had to turn the temp up as I was nearly freezing in 24deg setting. Sasina is a real gem, her hospitality is exemplary.

The host Marina was super friendly , attentive and helpful, even tho she doesn’t stay there overnight, but we are able to get in touch with her 24/7 via WhatsApp, and she will get it sorted out right away. She even packed us sandwiches for breakfast to take with us for the 6:35am ferry back to Phuket, that was so sweet of her.

Amazing location with beautiful bungalows in rural setting. Water buffalo/grey cows roaming in surrounding fields with loads of birds soaring in the skies above, a bright green rice field as the centrepiece for the property…. simply stunning. Bungalows are spacious & beautifully designed. We would have loved to stay for a few more days & really relax. They rent motorbikes too which is the perfect way to explore this quiet island.

Nice and calm Island.

Nice and calm Island. It's a great island to explore, either by bike or scooter. It has a couple of beaches, mostly on the East coast. Additionally have a walk through the main village of the island, discover the west coast, some natural rubber plantations, rice fields. Also, get on a boat to explore nearby Islands. It's a great island to relax and calm down. Apart from the exploration, bring a book to reat on your terrace or at the beach. Accommodation-wise, stay at Sangai Corner Bungalow with beaches in walking distance. Our favourite dinner place was Koh Yao Bistro by Chef Aon. Visited in May 2026

What a special island.

What a special island. If you want to get away from the high volume of tourists and discover true island bliss and relaxation, don't hesitate and book at Ko Yao Noi. Quiet, quaint, and authentic Thailand. Rent bikes or scooters. Totally comfortable riding around the island. It's not like other big cities on scooters. Felt safe the entire time. Great little ma and pa restaurants and bars throughout the island.

The island is a jewel. Less trampled than most.

The island is a jewel. Less trampled than most. Possibly the fact that the island is predominantly Muslim puts people off. It shouldn't because the people are friendlier hear than anywhere and you can purchase alcohol, just not in the 7-11. It's a pleasure to behold.

What an amazing island! Would absolutely recommend visiting. Gorgeous, quiet beaches. Amazing sunset views, with lots of lovely bars and restaurants to watch it (The Sunset Lounge Bar & Buffalo Bar). Lots of places to rent bikes and scooters so was super easy to get around, as well as having lots of things in walking distance. All the locals are super lovely and welcoming. We also had a fantastic meals at Koh Yao Bistro by Chef Aon and Kindee Thai Cuisine - would definitely recommend.

Beautiful island.

Beautiful island. Easy to reach from Krabi or Phuket via 30 minute speedboat). Safe roads to ride a scooter on. Lots of places to chill and eat. Highly recommend for downtime away from the madding crowds.

The island is fairly small, with good road infrastructure that can take you around any point. People were friendly and calm in general. Lots of things to do around, easy to get to Ko Yao Yai even with your scooter and explore the island, probably need another full day there or more. We recommend it strongly to everyone who wants to spend a quiet week in Thailand on a affordable price.

This hotel/bungalow is run by a wonderful and incredibly kind family. The bungalows are spacious with a terrace and a spectacular view of the sea. There are birds in the branches of the trees in front of the bungalows. Everything is very quiet. The restaurant is very good. We tasted delicious specialties. The view from the restaurant is superb. We rented a scooter on site. This bungalow is the best that we had in Thailand.

We loved our stay at Cape Kudu. The resort was fantastic, with all the amenities you could need. You could choose to spend a lazy day by the pool, hire a motorbike from the place next door and tour the island, or organise a day trip further afield. The included breakfast is excellent, but there are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance. This really is a slice of paradise and we will absolutely be back!

Everything, the villas were absolutely beautiful. Views of the garden were stunning and something about waking up listening to the wildlife felt so special. The staff were absolutely lovely me & my husband were quite sick and the hotel staff couldn’t do enough to help us. The food is amazing; the beach, facilities everything were just breathtaking! Would recommend this resort to everybody we are in love.

The owners was such a lovely hosts , when we arrived they offerd to rent the scooter and we could go to the beach and explore the island . Everything was clean , and i have stayed in a hotel in Ao Nang and i had the best sleep in here !!
