Very surprised how quiet and tranquil the area was. The rooms were clean and the staff were very professional and friendly.

Stayed a week - beds were made every day; clean place; tidy rooms; most interior looked like new.

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. It also wasn’t too far from Berkeley. I also liked that it had a good sized pool.

Centrally located in the Bay! Got family on SF, Oakland and Berkeley.

Super clean rooms and free parking and coffee. Next door to shopping and easy to get to SF. Felt safe and loved the view of the city.

Architecturally stunning, if you like 1920's Julia Morgan style. Large beautiful public rooms filled with books, even a working area with tables and free coffee, and a grand piano. Beautiful breakfast room with white table clothes and very nice pastries. An amazing ~75 ft long pool which was nearly empty in the early evening. My room had a beautiful view of the Berkeley hills. Thick towels, nice linen. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Excellent location of the hotel generally, helpful staff, clean, easy parking , appeared to be recently remodeled room.

They had smoking rooms which was cool. Yiu could tell the hotel was older though my room actually used to be a one bes room apartment it had a bed in living room and bed in bed room... Its defintaly not the hilton but if you are lookkng for some where you can just go have a night out and not worry about nothing thats a pretty chill spot.... they also have no deposit and accept cash
