United StatesAll the details were amazing, the craftsmanship is a work of art. Everything is brand new, super clean, and beautiful. The hot tub was amazing and you can smell the cedar while you're in there. Though it's a little pricey, it's very much worth it (and I don't say that lightly). I loved being in the trees, especially the redwoods. With the fog rolling in, it was very mystical (great time to take a dip in the hot tub).

Love the peace and quiet and the views from the balcony or front yard were beautiful - you feel like you are inside a forest and I loved that. The reception staff were very friendly and upgraded us as well on request - which was awesome. For this cost, it is a great value. Will definitely come back for a romantic getaway!

We moved out of Hotel Dega after one disastrous night and moved to our friends RV for three nights. So we got to enjoy it better.
We took great coastal drives, ate fresh king salmon from the Tides market, Wild Flour bakery was fabulous!

There are a variety of restaurants, and the grocery/deli is great for informal meals like sandwiches. We are not shoppers, so I can't rate the various stores, although there seem to be enough. It is worth the drive out to the headland to watch the sunset.

Bodega Bay is a delightful spot on the northern Pacific Coast. We go there often, although this time was for a quick overnight.
There are a number of fine restaurants in the area, and beautiful ocean views. The many activities to enjoy include hiking on Bodega Head to visits to the Marine Biology Center and finding sights from "The Birds". There are some unique shops and the seasonal "Salmon Creek Art Walks".
Visit its many beaches; check out this coastal treasure at any time of year. You never know who or what you will find!

Bodega Bay is pretty tiny, so no need to stay too long.
Bodega Bay is pretty tiny, so no need to stay too long. The Fishetarian has amazing fish tacos + beer, and Bay View at the Tides is a spectacular "fancy dinner" spot. Doran State Beach was a wonderful find, as was the tiny boutique-bakery-and-flower settlement at Freestone, just up the road. Valley Ford has a nice grocery and wonderful Estero Cafe featuring local Straus and Clover dairy products and other local produce.

Cute little town not too far from SF!
Cute little town not too far from SF! Plenty of beautiful beaches around and great food, specially if you like seafood and fish!
Only down side is places close kinda early, so make sure you get food before they close!

In response to the response from the owner regarding the closing of reception way earlier than posted. That is simply not true. It did not say that they'd be closing early and the receptionist never mentioned it. This is the only hotel on our 15 day cycling trip down the coast that insisted we lock out bikes in their storage. The receptionist was quite undriendly and uncommunicative. It is not a good feeling to arrive to such an unpleasant person.

Great Hotel in a secluded place which almost feels like hidden away from the rest of the world.
Beautiful views and impeccable grounds. Rooms are modern with very comfortable beds, very quiet and relaxing.
Nice pool and Whirlpool which we saddly didn't have time to enjoy but we'll be back !
