Almost everything, especially the host. I can't be more thankful for all the help and support we've got. They even kept our things we were no able to pick up 2 years ago. Such a wonderful place and person. The location is perfect right across the street from Kern river. Perfect spot if you are interested in day hikes, rafting or similar.

I have had a long love of the Lake Isabella area as I...

I have had a long love of the Lake Isabella area as I previously resided there for several years and in Bodfish specifically about 20yrs ago. This trip was extremely bittersweet as I noted multiple times the amount of homeless and apparent drug users up and down Isabella Blvd at all hours. I know this is affecting CA statewide but the towns around the lake were always sleepy little communities where the sidewalks rolled up by 8pm. The local business owners friendly and I saw old friends but the overall change was extremely sad to me.
