from the moment I walked in, I was met with a friendly atmosphere and a welcoming front desk. We were allowed to check in earlier (which I highly appreciate, as we both had to work that day). Our room was amazing! Spacious studio with designated areas to eat, to work, to sleep, to get ready, and to take a bath. I think it's bigger than my Manhattan studio haha I rarely leave reviews, but this stay was so perfect for us that it would have been wrong not to : ) All amenities are kept VERY clean, there are few to almost no people. Calm aura everywhere. And it's not far from Fishkill and Beacon with all its attractions, cafes, etc. We were not going out to eat, our studio/room had a perfect kitchen with all appliances, a microwave, and even tiny dishsoap in addition to a capsule for a dishwasher (if you are an old-schooler like me). I am looking forward to returning to this amazing place and will definitely advise it to everyone who'll be visiting upstate NY. I enjoyed my trip to Fishkill even though it was relatively short. I'm mostly ate at fast food establishments, but had the option to go to Walmart, which was great because I can get multiple options for a relatively cheap price getting to and from my event was fairly easy and not too expensive considering I had to take Ubers everywhere but if you have a car, this would be a great place to visit.

The hotel wasn’t what I expected and the area not as “ Townsend” as we would have liked. We ended up finding a decent restaurant, but Not very many other 5 star options. No reason to return to this area .

Your location is great for my visits to West Point Military...

Your location is great for my visits to West Point Military Academy to see my son and there was plenty of shops and restaurants near by . The bed was very comfortable. I was extremely disappointed when I arrived at almost midnight Friday because you did not have a working ice machine and I was told, at that time of night, that my best option was to go to the neighboring gas station to purchase ice as they are open 24 hrs. The excuse for no ice at the hotel was that you were renovating and becoming a Hilton Spark. I was shocked that you did not have a backup plan for your ice situation as you never had ice the entire weekend. Additionally, due to your construction and a tripping of a fuse, Sunday when I was leaving, I waited over 5 minutes for the elevator and gave up. I walked down three flights of stairs with luggage to be told the elevator wasn't working due to the fuse and the front desk was just informed of it so they were fixing it. If you are traveling with elderly or individuals with disabilities, this would be a horrible situation. I could not bring my father to visit his grandson with this were to continue. I do hope that once you have converted to a Hilton things will improve with customer service. My son just started his 4 years there and I plan on visiting several times a year.

This is a handy place for a stay with easy interstate access...

This is a handy place for a stay with easy interstate access and some interesting towns nearby, also when staying at comfort suites you are next to diner i48 which do some fantastic meals and brilliant service. There is a creamery on the main road which does big portions and fantastic flavours. There are some very good restaurants and bakeries with a good range of snacks and cakes. There is a walmart and some other stores nearby, in a short driving distance, also the redline diner, again nice food and service!

A Diner is conveniently located next door. The Hudson Valley Shakespeare Company's location in Garrison is only a 20 min. drive. General Washington's Headquarters (U.S. National Park site) in Newburgh, NY a 15 min. drive. If interest in modern art, visit the brand new museum "Magazzino Italian Art" on Route 9 in Cold Spring, a 15 min. drive.

I tipped generously every night for my 15 day stay and I had to change my own sheets. My husband was receiving radiation for a brain tumor in Peekskill and this hotel came highly recommended. Obviously their stay was somewhere else. Room description was misleading. Garbage disposal stunk up the room. Loud, obnoxious guests. I think the hotel has several people living there full time and cleaning out the food in the breakfast room. Are NY taxpayers paying for this?

Very large rooms with a proper place for luggage—we had plenty of it. Breakfast is good, standard American style. I liked the backdoor access to the parking—no need for unnecessary walks around the hotel. The hotel location is nice, and the best part is that it's near major highways to reach all around this area without the problem of hearing the traffic.

The hotel was very clean, staff were very helpful and our suite was amazing with a great sized lounge, kitchenette, bedroom and big bathroom. The breakfast was quite good with eggs, bacon, waffles, fruit, cereals and a range of breads. The pool was good although no showers or changing facilities.
