The breakfast was excellent. Scott's pear cider and jam were both delicious. We enjoyed talking to both Lisa and Scott. They were charming. I am recommending this B&B to our daughter and son-in-law.

This is always my go too when I come to visit family in Front Royal. For the price you cannot go wrong. Firstly the team working there are very friendly and I always have a good chat with them and I am always greeted with a smile. The rooms for the price is an absolute steal. Firstly every time I've stayed as you walk into your room it's always immaculately clean to the point you can smell it's clean. Never had a dirty sheet, towel or bathroom. The beds and pillows are comfortable and the shower has a good pressure with soap and shampoo provided which is an unexpected touch. Now don't get me wrong it's not a swanky high end hotel but as motels go this is the best of the bunch. The work that goes into it should be appreciated and awarded with business. Haven't had a chance to use the pool yet as always out of season but I will when I get a chance as I stay here at least 3 times a year when I get in from the UK. Honestly this place is a gem. I've stayed at some rough motels and this place is great.

I have reported this room to the correct people.

I have reported this room to the correct people. I have never left a review like this before. BEWARE do not stay here. It’s the cheapest for a reason. They have extended stay people living here. They have children that are up all hours of the night. We are talking 4:00 am before it got quiet. All the people living here smoke outside their rooms and this room must have had smokers in the room. We have stayed at this Wyndham motels before. Never have we had. Room like this. Filthy and moldy. Dirty. Only thing nice it had A/C.

What a fun old city in the mountains of Virginia.

What a fun old city in the mountains of Virginia. Interesting little shops, nice people, and lots of trails, National Parks, Cavers, and other things to see and do with a family. Skyline Drive is beautiful. the downtown is a great city to walk around: good food, unique shops, and wonderful ice cream.

Front Royal itseif is a cute little quaint town. But it has both small locally owned businesses as well as a few national chains. We went so we could drive the Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park. It was beautiful. We ate dinner at Castiglia's which was delicious. Warning...huge portions. But a good value. And our B&B ... Mountain Home couldn't have been better.

We had been to Front Royal and Skyland Drive several times; however, it had been over 10 years since we were there last. It is an interesting area and we wish we could have been there earlier in the fall when the leaves were changing, but we simply could not get away at that time.

Front Royal is the starting point on the north end of the skyline drive. The town really is cute and time could be spent there, which we did not. We drove into town and had dinner at the main st mill-really cute place with murals on the wall inside and great sandwiches at good, fair prices.

front royal is a great place for outdoor activities like...

front royal is a great place for outdoor activities like floating down the river, going to skylie drive, hiking and camping. wineries are a short drive away. the scenery in and around front royal is beautiful. the meliting pot pizza place is an old, iconic local joint. pizza is different but unusually good. for more new york pizza, try anthoy;'s. the element is also a great restaurant on main street. traffic is never a proble here and easy to get around.

All great. Breakfast included. Very clean rooms. The hotel currently goes through renovations, so everything becomes an upgrade and we enjoyed our newly renovated room! The construction works did not impact our stay. Only through the day noise is possible.
