The spa tub was big enough for the two of us - not always the case! - and everything was clean and comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was also outstanding! Zachary the manager was also great!

There is a bookstore in HMB that I love.
There is a bookstore in HMB that I love. You can get mystery books of almost any genre for only a dollar or two! It's dangerous, but I've gotten so many books that made it worth my while! There was also an incredible Oaxacan restaurant. I highly recommend.

It’s a sleepy town, not much going on but we found a gem in the state park nearby. It’s pretty hard to find but when you do it’s beautiful. Great tide pools too. The flower meadow nearby was also stunning.

A peaceful place to land restorative in every way. It seems as though life just slows down allowing for you to be present in every moment. If you want a reser this is the place to do it.. Also have a meal.at Mira Mira restaurant you won't regret it!

Half Moon Bay is a beautiful, peaceful town perfect for a quick get aways that feel like a retreat. The town is full of restaurants with options for every one. Down town is quaint with speciality boutique stores and kind, inviting merchants. Of course the main attraction is the ocean, which is very accessible. This is one of my favorite places to reset my mind and body.

Recommendation- If you can spend a night in Half Moon Bay
We live an hour away and spend the night in HMB several times a year after having walked by the ocean and a great dinner.
Best things - Marsh walk in Pescadero. Buying fresh crabs and fish to take home in Princeton. Strolling the town, there is always a new shop or 2. Of course the food. There are several very good se food restaurants in and around town, We also aways stop at the Half Moon Bay Nursery up 92 to spend money.
What about the beaches? It's the Pacifc coast so swimming is not a great option but there are a lot of beautiful beaches to walk along.

Frankly didn’t find anything bothering. Impeccable staff , the pick up shuttle was always on time . Great restaurants. The Spa is great with professional masseuses and beauty parlor staff.
The landscape is beautiful . Complimentary classes on site .
Weather is so so but it was expected as it is California coast.

The hotel is right on the beach, and we had a room with an ocean view. The bed and the pull-out sofa were comfortable. Staff were very helpful, and even found a local charity where we could donate food items that we could not take on the flight home. We enjoyed the heated outdoor pool and the hot tub. he neighbourhood seems very nice and give off a very relaxed, respectful and cosy vibe. The breakfast had delicious almond croissants and a lot of home-made or sustainably sourced items. Delicious.

Fabulous, spacious room with a terrace overlooking the pool and golf course. Lots of hot and cold breakfast options, great eggs, fresh juice not the sugar loaded orange liquid often provided. Local coffees and a range of teas. We loved the free bikes and cycled the coastal trail into half moon bay. We arrived early expecting to leave luggage somewhere but were shown straight to our room.

We were extremely happy with our stay. The house was very well equipped including free WiFi. The beds were super comfortable and Rita was a very attentive host. The property is in very close proximity to the beach and good access to restaurants and bars. The pretty Main Street of Half Moon Bay is about 20 minutes drive away. We would happily stay there again.

Great location and view of the marina, good parking, rooms and hotel was beautifully decorated and very comfortable so had a great nights sleep. Lots of restaurants across the road to enjoy.
