Great location right off the highways and only a 2 minute drive from historic Harpers Ferry. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The staff were super friendly and eager to help. The hot breakfast in the morning was fantastic!

Very Nice Old Town with Quaint Shops.

Very Nice Old Town with Quaint Shops. If Your a Senior, just Know it is a Steep Climb up the Main Street. But there was the Barrier Stones to Sit, along the Way. The Overlook at the Point (where the Potomac and Shenandoah River Meetup!) was a Nice place to visit. So much History that Happened in this Sweet Town!

If your a history buff, it and the surrounding counties are...

If your a history buff, it and the surrounding counties are a must see. Harpers Ferry is small with interesting shops and eateries. Adequate parking and the Amtrack station is a added feature for those not wanting to drive. Everything is in walking distance. Next time, I will rent a B&B in town. Public transportation is iffy, but there is one very reliable Taxi.

Perfect hotel to spend two days visiting Harpers Ferry.

Perfect hotel to spend two days visiting Harpers Ferry. The room was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. Comfy bed. The lobby attendant was friendly and helpful. She let us know that we could walk from the hotel right into Harpers Ferry along the water (saves the $20 parking fee). After a great town visit, we walked back along the trail from Jefferson's Rock (I have bad knees and was able to complete the walk/hike, after many rests; so take that into consideration). Our room overlooked the parking lot (not ideal, easy in an out on ground floor). The 2nd floor had a better view, but may have been noisy since it is right above the main road. The continental breakfast was being filled often and offered both cold and warm options. Would definitely recommend.

We didn't have enough time to actually tour Harpers Ferry as we were there for family members deaths. We have been to Harpers Ferry for the past 30 years and really enjoy it. Lots of memories have been made here.

The hiking around the area, along the AT as well as C&O...

The hiking around the area, along the AT as well as C&O Canal, which I grew up biking along with my family. Parking downtown is scarce, but love the downtown vibe, even in the wintertime. River is amazing, with views from atop Maryland Heights and Weverton Cliffs as well as on the AT on the other side of Potomac are astonishing.

The staff members we encountered were friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is in a good location and we found our room to be spacious, clean and very comfortable. We would definitely consider staying there again on any future trips to Harpers Ferry.
