I had an absolutely delightful stay at Super Eight in Hill City, South Dakota! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The warm pool was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the nearby attractions, which were conveniently close by. The rooms were spotless, providing a comfortable retreat for a restful night's sleep. Plus, having a laundromat and convenience store nearby made everything so convenient. I can't recommend this hotel enough for anyone looking for a fantastic stay in Hill City.

iron mountain road, needles road, wild loop road, Custer park, seeing nature. Our hotel was walking distance to downtown to shop. it was very easy to get around in Hill City. All aboard restaurant amazing food. big servings. train ride it a big hit. We all enjoyed that.

I was in Hill City 26 years ago.

I was in Hill City 26 years ago. It is still a great spot for accommodations and restaurants. It is a bit more of a tourist trap than it was back then. Probably great for families. I highly recommend the Steam Train and access to Custer State Park-especially the Needles Hwy and Sylvan Lake.

Hill City is a great western town in the Black Hills, with many amenities. However, I do regret that the main street reenactment of a shoot out has been canceled. It was great entertainment. The HC Haven has many amenities, and was very comfortable for three couples. We utilized the dining table primarily and also enjoyed the hot tub. I couldn't figure out how to turn on the gas fireplace, which would have been nice and cozy. We primarily used the home as a rest and regroup location, as there's so much to see in the area.

Hill City is a great place to stay.

Hill City is a great place to stay. It's beautiful and right in the middle of all Black Hills attractions. Keystone is like 15 min drive away, Sylvan Lake is 3 miles away, Rapid City is 27 miles. Everywhere you drive, the scenery is amazing, so even driving 30 minutes to Rapid City is a quick, pleasurable drive. Hill Citys Main street has lots of nice dining and shopping options, including a Subway for a picnic lunch at Sylvan Lake. Hill City also has a nice Grocery store and a hardware store, unlike Keystone. I'd highly recommend staying in Hill City to get the full Black Hills living experience.

It's a great central location for a few days on the bike...

It's a great central location for a few days on the bike trail. A nice ride down to Custer or up to Rochford. We enjoyed Sunday morning worship at The Little White Church, as well as browsing local shops, and dining in the restaurants. Hill City gives you easy access to other destinations in the central and southern Black Hills. Definitely recommend this city for a few days in the Hills.

Love the Black Hills overall.

Love the Black Hills overall. Really enjoy the 1880 train ride which rolls right by the hotel and you can enjoy watching it go by. Alpine Inn is such a good place to eat that we went there everyday day. Love those desserts.

We stayed here the 4. time and we love the Hotel in any way. Staff is super friendly and helpful in any way, it is clean and if you have a problem it will be resolved in no time. I will stay here again and would recommend it anyone.
